Sliding the signed forms back across the table, he straightened them up before tucking them back into his briefcase. Perfect. Now that that was all taken care of...
“Yes, well, I suppose, I shall leave to return to your work for the evening. My office will be in contact with you soon with more details on when and where you are to begin.” Tohma said standing up, straightening his jacket as he looked her over one more time with a smile gracing his pale lips. Reaching into his breast pocket he extended a small business card to her. “If he causes you any trouble, here is my direct number. Though I trust that I am leaving him to capable hands.”
If. It was likely more a matter of when. But, it was best not to frighten this one off so quickly. This seemed as if it was going to work out just fine.
“Good evening, Dr. Ditchi.” And with that, he took his leave, from both the conversation and the isolated conference room. There was one more objective he had for the evening and that was peeking in on his beloved boy once more before heading back home hopefully before his wife suspected something was amiss. This was cutting into the time he had allotted to fulfill the dessert requests she had given him which he had used as an excuse to leave the house. Hopefully, his aide had diligently acquired all the items she had requested while he had taken care of this more pressing issue.
Reku kept a small, polite smile on her face until the wealthy man left. Yeah, something was bound to happen. She didn’t think she’d need Tohma’s number, but it wouldn’t hurt to be prepared. From what she’d observed, the other had a knack of calming her irritable patient down. Hoo boy, it was going to be a fun night. Still, she couldn’t shake that small feeling of anxiety. Maybe she was just nervous to be spending so much time with an attractive male? Oh, lord, Reku, you need to get laid. He’s. A. PATIENT.
It was going to be a long night.

Tohma hadn’t waited long to call her -- he was serious when he said that he’d be in contact ASAP. Eiri hadn’t been released for long when her phone had rang. Tohma’d given her the schedule and her bosslady had been oddly accepting of the request for extended time off. Then again, he was a wealthy sponsor to the hospital. That and Reku got the feeling that he wasn’t someone that people said no to often.
So, here she was, rocking back and forth on her heels, in front of Eiri’s door. She’d check the slip of paper time and time again to make sure she was in the right place. Sucking in a breath of air, she rung the doorbell, smoothing down the red button-down she’d worn with pants. She originally thought a skirt would be a good idea, but truth be told -- she didn’t own any. It was hot outside, but not hot enough to make her crack her ages long tradition of dress pants.
She really hoped she got the right place. Hell, she was starting to think a drink wasn’t a bad idea.
