A Small Note About Me
Name: Freshwater Fish (清新的淡水鱼)
The name was randomly assigned when I first signed up on one platform. I thought it was fun, so I kept using it everywhere.
English is not my first language, so my posts written in English are made with the help of translation tools.
I draw things I personally enjoy and share them with people who like the same things.
Currently very into Undertale fanart, especially Sans × Frisk.
My favorite UT character is Frisk, so drawing Frisk always makes me genuinely happy.
My drawing skills are still improving, but seeing so many likes and kind reactions here is what keeps me motivated and enjoying the process.
Recently, I’ve been receiving some requests, so I wanted to write a proper note about how I work and what I’m comfortable with.
About requests: As long as a request doesn’t involve a CP that I personally avoid, I’m willing to treat it as practice and give it a try. If there’s something I truly can’t draw, or if a CP crosses my personal boundaries, I’ll reply clearly and let you know.
I also have personal projects I really want to work on. I enjoy imagining scenes inspired by music, and I love sharing stories I personally find cute, funny, or bittersweet. Because of this, some requests may need to wait until after those ideas.
I want to keep my enthusiasm for drawing, so I usually prioritize what I feel most inspired by at the moment. On top of that, real life sometimes slows things down, which means some requests—if not explicitly declined— may still take a long time to be completed.
As for ships I don’t really ship:
Sans × Toriel — I like Toriel as a character, but personally see Sans and Toriel as close friends rather than a romantic pairing. I really enjoy the story Toby Fox shared about Toriel drawing hair on Sans’s head with a marker while drunk. It’s cute and funny, and that kind of interaction is something I’d love to draw one day.
There are also some Sans × Frisk AU interpretations I don’t fully ship at the moment. For example, Swapfell Sans and Frisk— I can’t really imagine them in a romantic relationship. To me, they feel more like chaotic friends, or possibly characters who don’t even know each other. That said, I do find the idea of Swapfell!Sans liking Fell!Frisk to be a fun and playful take.
As for Felllust Sans × Frisk, after reading more about the AU and its characterization, it feels very unlikely for them to develop into a romantic relationship.
I also enjoy lighthearted, slice-of-life comedy (like Daily Lives of High School Boys, Nichijou, K-ON!, and Crayon Shin-chan). That’s why I enjoy casual Bad Sanses slice-of-life content so much, and how the “Bad Sanses Kindergarten” idea came to be.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for your support.
