I don't think I'm actually going to use tumblr much, if at all, but I'm about to be in a new house where I will have space to set up an altar and start practicing again

So I know I sort of disappeared...and I'm not really planning to come back much. I haven't practiced any magic in quite some time now. I just haven't needed it.
I have a lot of books and supplies that I never use, and likely will never use, so I was thinking I might try to sell off some things if anyone is interested?
I'm going to keep a handful of books, but I have plenty I never really used, as well as herbs and such. I'll probably keep most of my tarot/Oracle decks, but I'll probably sell some too.
I just have like 2 whole tubs of stuff that's taking up space in my studio and not being used...it feels like a waste for it to just sit there
So I'm unfollowing a bunch of blogs...theres just so much on my dash that I find totally irrelevant now. So many people's focuses have shifted away from what I originally followed them for and now I don't even care about the bulk of my dash.
I'm trying to keep anyone I actually interact with, but if your name changed I may not realize who it is...
At this point I'm barely practicing anyway, which is kind of sad, but I just don't feel the need much anymore. I still want to work on my tarot decks I had planned, but there's a lot of art things on my.plate right now in general so idk when I'll get around to them
Maybe I'll feel a resurgence and get back into it, but at this point I'm more focused on my art and surviving work (which I fucking hate at this point)

So my Granddaddy died a few days ago. Grandmother had already passed awhile back (with no one telling me for some stupid reason).
She has already been cremated and he is being cremated too and their ashes mixed together.
So I know there’s all kinds of things to do with cremains, but I’m at a loss. I’m fairly certain we will leave some at their property, but Mom commented that I could have some ashes if I had anything I wanted to do with them.
I definitely don’t just want an urn of ashes. No matter how cool the urn is, that seems weird to me.
I know there’s a company that will grow a tree from ashes, but I don’t have anywhere to grow a tree.
I know you can get diamonds and glass sculptures made, but they are not fancy people. They are outdoorsy people. He was heavily involved in Boy Scouts his entire life. He was an architect of some sort and designed their house from the ground up. As well as maintaining their 8 acres of woods, digging, filling, and developing the ecosystem that was their pond. Built a gazebo with running water and fans and shit by himself after the age of like 75.
She had gone to college for some kind of environmental science and knew more about Texas plants and animals than basically anyone ever. Legitimately the smartest woman I have ever known. She was also a fantastic homemaker, making the bulk of their clothes, creating jams from grapes that grew naturally on their property, etc.

Apparently at some point you could have them made into pencils. Some artist was doing it, but now I can't find the actual site to do it through or anything like that

Huge Announcement!
Honestly my hands are shaking just typing this lol!
So, here goes.
Recently we made a routine trip to the warehouse of our biggest supplier. The warehouse is owned by a lovely couple who ended up becoming our friends! As we were checking out with all of our new crystals, they hit us with some sad news. They have to leave to go back to their home country (where the main part of their business is established) to take care of sick family. I was immediately heartbroken and kind of panicked because if they left, it would make it extremely hard for us to keep our shop stocked as much as it currently is.
But then! They jokingly said “why don’t you guys take over?”. We laughed, but then we realized that’s been our goal for years, to be wholesale crystal distributors and have a warehouse. Then we got serious! They made us an extremely generous offer for us to buy their entire business they spent the last 2 years establishing in the US. They told us there were others interested in buying, but they would rather let us take over everything if we were interested.
So basically, we are in the midst of finalizing a purchase of a pre-established wholesale crystal business. Whoa! That sounds intense, right?
We don’t have much time to finalize everything and come up with the down payment, but we’ll talk more about that later.
But you guys are probably wondering what that means for the online shop! Essentially not much will change at first. Shop updates may be slightly smaller for the first month or so while we get adjusted to this HUGE change. But after that, we will be able to do bigger, better things with our online retail shop, much of what we discussed in an earlier post I made last week. Plus, our crystal stock will be bigger and much more consistent.
For now, we appreciate any support you guys continue to give us. We’ll be juggling a lot at first, but we’re going to be hiring lots of help and we should get adjusted soon. For now, it’s one step at a time. At this point, anything extra that we make in sales that doesn’t go to bills/expenses will be put towards the down payment for the warehouse. WE CAN’T THANK YOU ENOUGH! <3

Well I haven’t heard from the person these were intended for so I guess these are up for grabs. So if you’re interested, make me an offer!
Things to keep in mind. Each of these took over 10 hours to make. Probably a lot more, but I’m really bad about forgetting to clock my hours. Also these aren’t just from a pattern, nor did I write down what I was doing, so they are one of a kind and I will not be making the same ones again.
That being said I am kind of stuck with them now.
So…who wants some cute plushies?
