my dearest friends, the starving artist is 10 years old today...in many ways, the album is more relevant now than it was then. regardless, it will forever remain in my heart an accomplishment that far exceeded my goals for it. it started with a dream and ended with a plan. a plan that was executed...10 years ago today. cheers.

two decades ago (that's 60 in rap years) i put out a cassette tape called 'destiny' and have been writing, recording, and performing hip-hop music ever since. i am truly grateful that after all this time, i still get offers to play shows. i do not take it for granted. #gratitude
