Amazing: This Man Agreed To Be In His Friend’s Flash Mob Proposal, Even Though It’s For The Girl He’s Secretly In Love With
Took this photo at my first of many Parliament-Funkadelic concerts years ago at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT. This man was one of the most gifted musicians ever. ‪Peep Gary Shider in the back, too. Rest in peace.Â
Larry David fans rejoice! Curb Your Enthusiasm is coming back for a 9th season, according to HBO. He spoke to Fresh Air last year when he did the Broadway show Fish in the Dark.
On how his character on Curb has changed him in real life:Â
“The character has emboldened me to be much less inhibited and to take on a lot of the things that the TV Larry David does. If I’m at a dinner party and I want to go home, I can go, before dessert, “OK, I’ve had enough. All right, I’m gonna go.” And nobody would be shocked to hear me say it, whereas I could never do that before Curb. And now people are not surprised and they kind of expect it.”
Not sure how this sick audition tape didn’t get me cast on the new MadTV.

Ok, so you heard about the nastiness in Old Navy’s mentions, right? I posted something about how you can explain the rise of Trump with several ugly things happening all at once, and one of those is the rise of the alt right. As I understand it, these assholes are on Twitter now for a few reasons, all of which intertwine:
- BlackLivesMatter happened, and nothing enrages the alt right like saying that black lives matter - Meanwhile, they’re over at stormfront and other sites that cater to their… type, and I don’t know, maybe the realize that everyone is mostly pretending they don’t exist. So they take this opportunity to join Twitter in droves and spread their ideas. - Adding to this, they finally get a Presidential candidate who says what they’ve been saying forever: Donald Trump. All of a sudden their views are in the mainstream, so this is all sort of the ugliest coming out party in recent memory. - Oh, and by the way, you probably can’t tell but some of this is almost definitely chan culture. Meaning… well, I don’t know. They’re kidding about all the racist things they say but they probably also believe it too.
All of this has been happening for over a year and most people are just tuning in and being like “wait what why”. Those tweet roundups are a different breed than your usual public shaming of “look at these racists on twitter”. It might end up being more dangerous because they absolutely don’t care. They thrive on the attention and they see an opportunity to grow a far-right party in the vein of what you’re seeing in Europe right now.
So, like I said: it’s getting worse, and Twitter is possibly doomed.
Never got beat up!
RIP Prince
