honestly one of my favorite things about fanfic is when you can see the canon influences come out in really subtle ways. like a canon line thats mentioned once as a throwaway is suddenly the entire premise for a fic or it influences the characterization or something. its just so cool to see how people weave their ideas around a source material, especially if its not a detail i'd thought about before

This was my piece for the @chasingrainbowszine!! My color was yellow. :)
I know that Fordās downfall was his hubris and all that, but I do admire his tenacity. When he had a mission, nothing could stop him from trying to achieve his goal. Heās the kind of guy who would keep flapping harder than ever, even as all the wax melted off his wings as he plummeted to his doom. That level of obsession is foolish and destructive, but his passion is still kind of admirable, isnāt it?
That said, thereās something to be said for chilling out. Let yourself be lazy. Play some video games. Donāt summon devils into our realm. Rest. And donāt try to shoulder everything on your own. Fordās salvation had nothing to do with how clever, hard working, or determined he was. It came from allowing himself to trust his loved ones to help him.
Anyway, I really enjoyed drawing this and Iām so grateful that I got to be included in this project. :))
you do kind of have to actively shape how you feel a little bit. you can't just like, passively wait for the world to impress and inspire you. you have to choose to look for it & you have to choose to find it.
