So Erin’s posted her pregnancy announcement and a video, Carly hasn’t commented on either post.

Now obviously she very well could have privately messaged her but it’s still weird to not see anything from her in the comments. Something seems off

has it been days now and she still hasn’t commented? like i’m totally team carly at this point even though i don’t want to believe those two have actual beef

carly’s been talking a lot about her and nolan moving closer to her family, she’s just worried that she’d miss la if she left. but she keeps saying she doesn’t have that much to do or that many people to hang out with, but when she’s home with her family there’s always people around and hanging out, and that she feels like more of a person with a full life when she visits. i think it’s probably taking her a while to fully process that her 20s/vlog squad days are over and there’s nothing left for her to do in la, especially now that the podcasts seem to be officially over, but i do think she’s eventually realize it

i really hope that’s something that works out for them. i don’t want more people to move to nashville but they’d probably like it here too! especially if nolan is still doing music. she deserves to be happy and feel fulfilled

someone commented “where’s carly” and tj responded “probably at her house!” lol - one day after carly posted a video saying she might be depressed because of how much she’s isolated herself since covid. i think they’re truly just not compatible as friends anymore. erin is clearly fine and moving forward while carly still seems to be struggling with all the changes in their lives since covid and with not having a big friend group anymore. she even said she ran into jason recently and he asked why she doesn’t hang out with them anymore (although it should be EXTREMELY obviously why lol) and she said she just feels lost with what to be doing in life right now (definitely understandable, i just hope she makes some kind of change for the sake of her mental health). adult friendships suck sometimes!!

ughhh i hate that for her. also that’s SUCH a shitty comment by tj, but what else is there to expect from him🙄? maybe la/california isn’t the best fit for her anymore? feeling lost is literally the worst feeling ever, it’s like you need someone to tell you what to do, but there’s no one who can because it’s YOU that has to do that for yourself. man i just hope she knows she has so much time to figure herself out or start over or do whatever is right for her

🔫 to my head if anyone asked to explain the vlog squad drama/lore now I would not be able to do it. There was just tooooo much of it. I genuinely think after the major drama at the end there, I went into my mental storage, mass highlighted anything vlog squad related, clicked delete, went into the recycle bin and emptied it.

Just in case you still want Carly and Erin updates lol - it really seems like they aren’t friends anymore. They both never mention each other on their separate channels, which isn’t that out of the ordinary, but now Carly is liking comments saying things like “I always liked your vibe more than Erin’s” lol. And she talked about how she misses having friends to vlog with, and that she doesn’t even hang out with any friends anymore, vlogging or not. A part of me feels like that’s sort of her own fault though, because I remember Erin saying years ago that she invites Carly out and she always says no, so she probably stopped asking. It kind of seems like now that they aren’t filming together they just don’t see each other at all. I guess it makes sense for them to separate from each other considering how long they’ve worked together, but it is very strange that they just abruptly stopped doing the podcast and have barely acknowledged it. It would’ve been better if they had just filmed a video explaining that they’re ending the podcast/not going to work together anymore to focus on their own channels, but instead they’re both just sort of acting like the other doesn’t exist

that’s actually pretty sad if they’re not friends at all anymore. it felt like an opposites attract situation, but i guess that might’ve caused too many rifts or incompatibilities especially with getting older? i do agree with you about carly, but at the same time, i totally get her not wanting to hang out in erin’s world, back then it was like only emo nite and now it’s that plus skiing or whatever she does. it is really odd for them to just call it quits and not say anything, but i know they (aka erin) have that “we don’t owe anyone anything!!!1!1” mindset. idk i feel for carly and get why she’d be a little jaded about anything

hope you’re doing well!! i’m unfortunately very invested in carly and erin abruptly ending their podcast, going weeks without addressing it, giving a half assed “we’re taking a break” explanation, then getting annoyed when anyone asks more about it lol. i honestly only watch erin’s videos now so them ending the podcast doesn’t bother me, but it is funny that they ended both their joint channel and podcast without really announcing it

so do they not make any content together anymore?? it sounded like the podcast wasn’t very enjoyable towards the end, but that’s just based on people being annoyed at erin sounding like erin.
