       { It’s with a heavy heart that I have to put this blog on a temporary hiatus. I know that I just got back from a “mini hiatus” after my trip to Japan, but that hiatus will unfortunately have to be re-instated for three reasons:

Tonight is my last night with internet and cable in my apartment. I have to return the modem and box to my provider tomorrow because I am moving.

I am moving across the country, and it’ll take me a week to drive up there, unload everything, and drive back for my last week in Texas. Time will be very limited and access to wifi will be very scattered.

Nile is a muse that recently has been lost to me. I know that he will be rekindled once I hear him in the English dub (I’m very excited and anxious to see who they have cast for him), or if he is in the newest issue of the manga scheduled to be released. Until then, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to access him and reply to my threads in the way that I want to.

       I am unsure how long this hiatus is going to last, but as soon as my muse returns to me, I will be very excited to come back and work on my drafts again. I’m going to fill up my queue with art and this post, just in case anyone misses this. I really do love each and every one of you. My followers have all been so incredibly patient with me. Thank you for everything.

Hiatus Announcement - off to Japan!

          Hello beloved followers! 680 of you guys now, wow~ as always, I am honored! I am announcing a “hiatus” for this blog from Wednesday, July 16th, until Monday, July 28th.

          Why, you may ask?

          Because I am off to Japan! I will be travelling with my incomparable best friends cooldaderwin and der-wachhund to Nagoya, Hiroshima, and, ultimately, Tokyo. This will be my 4th time visiting (in the past five years, no less!), but I am still quite excited.

          I am placing my blog on “hiatus” for the duration of my trip. It will only be a “hiatus” in the sense that I will not be responding to drafts. I will, however, have a full queue (and I will queue this post a few times as well, just in case anyone misses it). I also plan to post a few pictures chronicling my adventures (and maybe some SNK merchandise?) that will be out of character. If you do not wish to see these pictures on you dash, please feel free to block the tag “Alana in Japan,” because that is what I’ll be using to document my little vacation~

          I will have sporadic access to wifi, so I’ll definitely be checking Tumblr from time to time! Please feel free to leave anything in my ask — maybe even requests for merchandise?? I will be hitting up Animate at least once to get some SNK swag to bring back for a giveaway, and I’ll do my best to oblige anyone who might be lusting after something in particular.
