Cheap Laughs and Junk Food |Dawn + Pietro
Pietro laughed, “A vampire? Really? I bet your sister was really happy about that. Being the vampire slayer and all,” he said shaking his head. ”And plus, that just proves you are better. You had part of the normal teenager life with a family and such. Well a normal family. You don’t have a dad that wants to kill and control all humans do you?” he said trying to joke about his father a little. ”I didn’t get any of the regular life, just running from place to place, but I feel like I’m staying put now. I want to stay put,” he said taking her hand.
Pietro groaned and almost fell the the floor dramatically, “Can you just imagine hearing that over the radio? Speedy is on his way to back you up? I would be laughed at every time someone passes me in the hall,” he said shaking his head quickly. ”I think I need something a lot better than that.” He laughed a little, “Leather and jackets aren’t exactly me. A bit too cumbersome for the speeds I can go.”
He quickly wiped his face and shook his head. ”I do not tan well. I burn. Quickly. And it’s just…ow. The wind whipping against my skin with the burns is just…” he said shivering a little. ”And yes a helicopter. I played with them on that. Ran up the side of the wall and jumped in the side of the craft and sat down behind them. The look on their faces was priceless. Nearly wrecked them,” he said with a grin.
He shook his head, “No one can catch me. I’m always shocking and surprising people with how fast I am. Like this,” he said moving quickly to close the small distance between them and kissing her softly. His hand moving quickly to take the bottle out of her hand and placing it on the table as he deepened the kiss.
His laughter was infectious and Dawn giggled a little "It's not funny! It's a really big deal you might have had Vampire Dawn for a girlfriend!" she was trying to look serious but the wide grin plastered on her face was a dead giveaway. Her smile softened when he began to take about his dad she didn't really know what to do so she just listened and hoped that that was okay. She tightened her grip around his hand "It's nice to stay put, even if it's for a while"
She laughed "Okay, make sure I never get employed as a codename namer. Wait, is that actually a thing do people sit there and come up with code names for people because I could definitely could use their help" She sighed a little "You know I'm going to make you dress up eventually? Especially when we go out for dinner."
"I'll make sure to lather you up in sunblock before we go out, getting burnt isn't fun at all" She laughed at the thought of Pietro scaring the people in the helicopter.
She deepened the kiss her hands gently wrapped around his neck while she pulled herself closer to him. She moved her hands down to his shoulders as they broke apart and Dawn caught her breath. She leaned forward so far that their lips were gently touching she tried her hardest to tease him then she kissed him deeply.
