Pizza and a movie || Dawn and Quinn

Dawn quickly tidied up her apartment before Quinn came over, she shoved some clothes under her bed and squished some of her trash down as threw away some empty takeout boxes. She straightened up the pile of papers on her coffee table before inspecting her reflection in the mirror. After a long day of research at home she looked like a mess her long brown hair was full of tangles and last night's mascara was slightly smudged underneath her eyes. 

Dawn ran her fingers through her hair trying to get rid of some of the tangles,SHe gave up and settled for a high ponytail. She was just wiping away the mascara when she heard the doorbell ring. Dawn quickly closed her bedroom as she walked out into the living room "Coming!" she called as jogged to the door. She pulled it open with a big smile on her face.

Happy Birthday | Dawn and Quinn

Dawn clutched the recently wrapped birthday present with excitement, she couldn't wait to give it to Quinn. She waited patiently on a bench near the fountain, as soon as she had gotten home she wrapped the present in the only wrapping she could find which was sadly covered in flowers. Then she wrote Quinn a card: 

Happy Birthday Quinn, I hope you have a great day and like your present. 

From Dawn 

She swung her legs back and forth while she waited and placed the present beside her as she began to get a little fidgety. Dawn hoped that Quinn would like the present or maybe she should have gotten her a crossbow instead. Every time she heard people approach she would jump a little hoping that one of them would be Quinn but none of them were. Dawn then began to worry that she hadn't gotten her message or that she didn't want to come. She pulled out her phone and checked her messages but Quinn had replied. She was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn't see Quinn standing in front of her

[P Nothing a day of sleep couldn’t handle. I’m getting there now — I had to stop and get a new cell phone first.

[PM] Make sure you get plenty of rest and don't push yourself but I'm glad your feeling better.

[P Why would you give the money to me?

[pm] Why not?  You're smart. You've got a good head on your shoulders and you deserve a break.  And like I said, I'm kind of curious as to just what it was that you'd spend it on.
