@day-before-retirement
((Jesus christ, roleplaying for me has been a trainwreck. I’ve been wanting to get back into it but I roleplay so many Niche things, and the community of roleplaying is so air tight that it’s hard to get someone who’s interested in interacting with a character from an indie game not many people know about.))
((I’ve been thinking about making a new Multi-muse blog in the same vein as the two previous ones i’ve done, The Multi Muse Wagon and The Multi Muse Freakshow. If anyone here knows what both of those two things are, I applaud you. But i’ve been thinking it’d make shit way easier for me if it works.))
((I dunno what the theme would be though. I like having a theme for my Multi-Muse blogs as well as some sort of aura of professionalism. Even though Roleplaying is p much a hobby, but it makes me feel more confident. Out of the ones I know I might do it’s probably Fish (if I move him to the Multi-Muse blog), Genji Shimada, Spades Slick or at least someone from the intermission of Homestuck, maybe i’ll try rping Problem Sleuth a go again, and maybe i’ll try the same with the Space Funeral cast.))
((That or i’ll just ignore all that, forget this blog exists, and keep on with my life and just forget it. That’s the more likely option. And seeing as i’m talking into dead air and nobody is listening it’s more likely that this will go nowhere.))
I’m gonna try uh...using this phone thing again.
So anyone there?...Like, at all?
I have no idea who i’m contacting right now but um.
I’m in the desert.
Okay that probably doesn’t help my case and it probably just makes it more confusing for you.
Sorry ‘bout that.
Did you have human and not tell me?! (Starter for day-before-retirement)
Plant instantly reacted, swinging the Big Gun and was about to fire before Rebel intervened, pushing the gun out of the way and holding her hand out to the other. She kept her weapon in her other hand, but didn’t raise it yet. It looks like there was a survivor of the attack. She dared not risk her comrades getting hurt, and kept careful. She had known enough that the IDPD aren’t fluent in Trashtalk, so she’ll have to attempt to form words to let the other understand that they won’t hurt them as long as this one doesn’t hurt them. “We…Vont…hurt…you…Looking…for…family…” This was getting hard on her throat, and she is going this purely on watching the IDPD and listening to their strange language.
“…We…not…hurt…comrades…” She motioned to the corpses of the fallen. “Someone…here…before…Let…us…pass…? Want…no…trouble…” It was clear she was trying to be as civil as she was, trying to take this as calmly as possible. Other bandits are moreso the sorts to shoot and ask later, but Rebel? She always did look at much more options and did take more. Hell, she did come up with the idea to allow a herd of Scorpions to live way far back, and that payed off her group and gave them a fantastic source of food for many years as they began to allow them to populate, and then trim them down for food. Her brother took the idea, though, figuring that she wouldn’t do much as long as he kept his thumb down. She hoped that this sharp difference of behavior would make the other settle down, and not resort to firing.
The IDPD Soldier was shaking, he was too much of a coward to just pull the trigger and run because he knew if he did that that Rebel and Plant would be on his ass like slime on a maggot. You could hear light claking from his hands shaking and him not being able to hold his gun straight. Soon enough, Fish realized what was going on. He was hoping he could follow suit in what Rebel was trying to do, so he gave it a shot. Plus, it helped that he was more fluent in English that Rebel was.
“Look can you just let us pa-”
“WHAT THE FUCK?!” Soon enough the IDPD Soldier fired out of fear, but luckily he was too shaken up to actually land a fatal blow despite how close he was. Still, an IDPD Bullet to the arm isn’t exactly something pleasant. “What the hell’s going on over there?!” Well that’s just great. Looks like they’re gonna have to deal with more than one IDPD Soldier. Fish rolled away as fast as he could and went to the sidelines to try and find somewhere he could lay low for a while and not gain too much attention. After that fight with Big Bandit he’s in no condition to fight with the IDPD. But Rebel and Plant most certainly are.
((...Jesus, I don’t know where to start.))
((I kinda thought this would come naturally but...fuck i’m kind of at a loss. I guess “Following people and seeing what happens” isn’t exactly easy for me.))
((Ey, Guess who’s not dead. Well, yeah me. I know I always go on and off on this blog but, I want to try and do some stuff here.))
((Fish is a pretty versatile muse in my opinion, mostly because he has a reason for being Multi-universe instead of just stuff happening. Not to mention just writing for him is fun, but the issue is Nuclear Throne is such an unknown it’s kind of hard to find people that are actually legitimately interested in roleplaying. Plus, I haven’t done it in a while. But I love writing, and I love interacting with people.))
((But yeah, I doubt people are actually reading this but, i’m gonna follow some people, try to be a little more active and see what happens.))
NUCLEAR THRONE: PROTO-TRIALS
You and a band of mutants decide it’s finally time to free the land from destruction, and bring peace to the wastelands in your quest…
For the Nuclear Throne
| PLOT | RULES | APPLICATION |
((God the Nuclear Throne roleplay community is so small. I really want to open up and roleplay with other people but my previous experience with doing that hasn’t been good. And I don’t want this blog to die.))
((Again.))
((For anybody who’s interested, i’ve really been considering making this a multi-muse blog for more NT characters. Like Eyes, Horror, Rebel and all the others. But this blog has been so Fish-centric and I had a plot planned out where having all the other characters here wouldn’t make sense, but I want to roleplay them but I don’t want to make another separate blog for another NT Character.))
((I just realized Fish is following a lot of villains. Bill Cipher, Dominator, The I.D.P.D Captain, Gregory.))
((Seriously i’m surprised Fish hasn’t gotten himself killed trying to fight these people. Like he’s following so many villains, i’m guessing it’s taking all of his willpower for him to not go berserk and end up killing himself.))

As Fish made his way down, Rebel followed along, with Plant following the back. Plant knew well of what the sewers held, the perks of communicating with plant life giving a lot of information giving him a lot to know about various places. Rebel though, this was fairly new to her. Big Bandit never allowed her to adventure in the Sewers. If she can take him down though, she can take down everything else. Plant seemed to take lead of the group, carefully peering into the darkness and keeping Big Bandit’s rifle armed and ready to fire at any sight of trouble.
As they went deeper into the sewers, Plant sniffed and snorted, finding the lack of rats astonishing. “Krrrshshs knnn rrrrrhhhggh… [Something’s not right…]” He took some more deep sniffs, hacking up the stray smell of toxic airs and trying to filter out the smells. Yeah, something was odd here…
Rebel noticed right away at something in the darkness, and signaled Plant to step back to look herself. There were a number of corpses here…Rats, big rats…Ballfrogs…And…IDPD? “Comrades. Someone vos already here…” She prodded the corpses of the 3 grunts and Inspector lying dead on the ground, turning them around to carefully inspect the bodies. “Hm…Looks like whoever it vos has their weapons. The wounds look like the weapons used to kill zem vos the same ones zese men use. Seems like zey have a traitor among them…And it seems like whoever it vos got here with ze portals, and jumped to another one…Zat may explain why brother was here earlier. Sounds like some tried to follow zis traitor and the fight got my brother’s attention…”
A traitor of the I.D.P.D....Wait a minute...Rouge?! She must be around here somewhere! Fish vaguely remembers meeting an I.D.P.D Soldier looking for a lost friend in the Wastelands! There’s no doubt in FIsh’s mind that this had to be the same person! “Wait, I think i’ve met them before! One time when I was out in the Drylands I met an I.D.P.D Soldier who apparently defected! They have to be the same per-”
CH-CHK!
“Freeze, Mutant scum! Don’t move or I will shoot!”
Fuck. Fish needs to learn to control his volume sometime. Looks like Fish and his comrades aren’t out of the woods yet. If anything they just went deeper into it. Fish was very much at a stand-still right now. He had an I.D.P.D Rifle poking the back of his skull so he didn’t exactly have much room to retaliate. So he just stood there, with his hands in the air and muttered to Rebel and Plant.
“Uh...little help?”
((Fish is such an obscure character in the RP Scene so i’m always worried that almost nobody is going to RP with me outside of the other Nuclear Throne roleplayers.))
((And even than there aren’t a lot to begin with.))
Did you have human and not tell me?! (Starter for day-before-retirement)
Rebel listened carefully to his tale. It all sounded pretty…strange. Many things went over her head, but she wasn’t one to judge. She found it very pleasing to hear, that he and Plant are trying to find this little one. In a world where people kill with no regard of such things, it was very hopeful some still held onto much kinder things than kill-or-be-killed. Its a sort of thing she wishes to happen more in this horrible world. “Hm…I see. I find zat very admirable, Fish. It sounds very strange, but you have yet given me reason to doubt your words. Do you two know where he could be?”
Plant poked Rebel’s shoulder and nodded, quickly doodling a quick explanation in the dirt, giving a general idea he theorizes that he might be in the Scrapyards by now. “Hm…Well, it won’t be easy. Big Bandit has been fighting those blue men all day. Zey seemed to be very active recently. If we must find ze child, we’ll have to be quick. If zey are after him too, we’ll have to be very careful. I only hope ze boy is strong enough to survive until we can find him. If he could survive a scorpion, I only pray he will be able to survive that place.” Plant seemed to get a bit irritated by the fact that the IDPD are more active. Geeze, they’re annoying, taste bland as hell, and now they’re much more active? Man, this is going to be a hell of a road trip. Rebel moved into the cave, pushing aside a rather large rock, and opening the manhole cover it was covering up. “In any case, we have to move. I know a shortcut in the sewers to move on quicker, and Plant has just vot we need.”
“Alright, if you say so.” Fish nodded and decided to follow Rebel and Plant down into the sewers. This was his first time going to this place, despite the numerous amount of times he’d searched for it. He knew there was an entrance in the Bandit Hideout, but wanted to be safer and look for another entrance. Although from the sound of things, Rebel and Plant had been here before....Wait...
Was Fish the only one here who had never been to The Sewers before!?Seriously he’s searched endlessly for this place to get to The Scrapyard but didn’t think to go to the obvious place that was right under his nose? Seriously, sometimes Fish’s cautiousness get’s in the way of actually progressing. But whatever, he was here now and that’s all that really mattered. Fish walked through the cave, and soon enough found a hole in the middle of the floor with a ladder down to it. Wait, so this was the entrance to The Sewers? Fish had always thought The Sewers was like this big, underwater cave. But the entrance was a neat hole in the ground with a ladder going down to it? That’s strange but, again, whatever.
He started to climb down the hole slowly, his field of view getting smaller and smaller as the light from outside began to fade. Soon enough, he reached the end of the ladder and placed his feet down. The floor felt cold and wet, but, oddly stable, as if it was mode from some sort of metal. It was a feeling he’d never felt before, and was very strange. He didn’t feel safe here, like this shortcut to The Scrapyard would have it’s own hell in store for Fish and his family. All the more reason to keep his guard up.
