okay. in genesis (canon) eve is tempted by "being like God." that is not explicit at any point for adam to want. in proba's cento, famously, adam has divine hypotexts when blaming eve. the serpent has divine hypotexts when tempting eve. like in their dialogue specifically. eve has no divine hypotexts unless someone speaking to her is a god speaking to another god. which happens a couple of times. therefore, to proba, eve is not convicted of this sin. and how this belongs in other fourth century christian beliefs i don't know
