Fatson Todd X female reader.
You werenβt feeling well today; you just felt sad and not very motivated to do anything as you lay on your king-sized bed.
You're also not in the mood to talk to your husband, Fatson Todd, at all.
At first, when he saw you sad and all blue, he thought someone had made you upsetβand he was ready to RAIN his rage upon the world.
The thought of someone making you so sad made him tense up, with heat in his eyes, fuming with fire.
βDid someone make you upset today, sweetheart?β he asked, looking at you sweetlyβletting his downy plush hands move to cup your cheeks, as he offered affection. βTell who it is, and I will eviscerate them by just blanking once.β
You gently shake your head and pout some more.
βNo bae, nobody made me upset. Iβm more upset at myself for no reason,β you admitted.
Fatson Todd lets out a gasp, moving his fluffy right hand to his mouth, letting your words sink in before he responds, βMy snugglepotβ¦ my beautiful burger queen,β he said, his tone soft and low, unlike the usual roughness he has. βWhy are you upset at yourself? Please don't beβtell me why, beautifulβ¦β
βI can't help it, honey, I'm just so blue for no reason,β you sigh, nuzzling your pillow and rolling your body a little to the other side of the bed.
Fatson Todd didnβt like that at all. His kind demeanor toward his wife turned almost irritated at her quiet defiance.
He wanted to push her further, make her say the words he needed to know, but she wasnβt budging.
He bites his tongue back from pushing her boundaries, knowing that she has her limits right now.
Deep down, heβs just mad at himself for not mastering how to read the mind of his wife.
He slowly puts his hands down to his sides.
βAlright, baby, but if you need anythingβ¦β he said, getting down on his feet from the bed. βYou tell me, okay? I love youβ¦β He added, then he rolled away, closing the bedroom door slowly behind him.
He was rolling around in circles in the living room, making quiet angry noises as he tried to think of ways to cheer his wifey up.
βShe hasnβt come out of our bedroom yet. Dang, what got her so upset?β he thinks, still rolling in circles.
βI wonder if she is telling me the truth or lying so I wonβt attack anybody for rightful reasonsβor is sheβ¦β he stopped rolling, deep in thought.
βI didnβt do anything wrongβ¦β
βOkay, maybe that one time I ate her burger when she wasnβt looking, and I blamed it on the weather for blowing it away then punished the fast food joint for itβ¦β
βOkay, maybe that TIME ONE when a guy called my wife a βbig bagβ in an insulting way, and the same night I proceeded to kidnap him and bulge out his eyes, and when he was begging for mercy, I slashed both of his legs and arms, decided to burn him in the furnace, then feed him to the Gotham ratsβ¦β
βShe canβt be seriously mad about that, right?β
βUugggh, what do I do?!β
He moves his fluffy downy plush hand under his chin, humming for a solution.
Then a lightbulb went on for him. βOH! I know what I need to do!β he said to himself, raising his two downy plush hands up. βIβll make her favorite burger, but larger. She would be so HAPPY!β he giggled to himself. Then he slowly rolled into the kitchen.
Time skips to a few hours laterβ¦
You were still drowning in your own mattress until you started smelling something.
βWhat is that smell?β
βIt smells good, too.β
βDid Fatson make something?β
You slowly get off your bed, then gently push your hair back as you steady yourself.
When you were about to roll toward the bedroom door, you heard Fatson calling you out⦠from outside?
βHonnneey!! My sweet, loving wifeyyyyy!!β he shouted.
You turn your head toward the window, as thatβs where the sound was coming fromβthe backyard.
βFatson?β you whispered, then slowly started rolling toward the window.
Then you push the curtains away, wondering what he was doing.
Your jaw dropped, eyes going wide with surprise and complete, utter shock.
βFATSON!! WHAT IS THIS BIG ASS BURGER DOING IN THE BACKYARD?!!?!β
βLanguage, young lady. Thatβs my burger, and my cooking skills mastery crafted,β Fatson said with confidence.
βWHY IS IT SO BIG!?!β you yelled.
βItβs big because thatβs how much Iβm worried about you right now. I put my love and sweat and tears into this burger so you wonβt be sad anymore, baby girl. So why donβt you get down here and take a bite?β he said.
He made you a whole ass burger, just because he was worried about you, you couldnβt help but feel so touched weirdly by that.
βOkayβ¦ Iβm coming down, dear,β you said, then quickly rolled.
Your heart pounded against your chest. You never had an experience like this before. I mean, who sits down and thinks about making a whole giant, house-sized burger? Your husband didβ¦
And god, you love him for it.
As you finally made it to the backyard, still rolling, you jumped into Fatsonβs arms, where he was waiting with open arms. Then he squeezed you tightly, moving his fluffy hand to ruffle your hair.
βThank you, Fatson, for making this big burger for me,β you said, smiling.
βAnything for you, sweetheart. Iβm just happy Iβm the one making you smile.β
Then both of you rolled together to the big burger and started eating together, like a sweet date night in the backyard with just the two of you.
And whatever sadness she was feeling, was all gone now.
(yesβI know it is cringeβ¦ but I love it.)
