daysgonefm is a plot / character driven horror / post apocalyptic role-play for muns and characters who are twenty one or over . with inspiration taken from the walking dead , the last of us , and days gone although no knowedge of any of these shows / games are needed to join . days gone follows the lives of lone survivors as they try to make it through the days ahead after surviving the last 20 or so years after an outbreak left the world in shambles . the focus of this group is to develop characters and foster relationships / connections through collaborative storytelling , events , plot drops , and writing challenges in a relaxed and no pressure environemtn . VIEWER DISCRETION: due to the nature of this role-play , mature subject matter may be featured here like : blood , gore , violence , and death .

the  connection :  back toward the beginning , charlie was surviving with her sister caroline until they came across two men that turned into a stand off for the resources the two women had . it escalated further than what it needed to be . yelling . threats thrown . one of the men shot first and charlie shot second and was the only one to walk away from that stand off or so she thought . one of the men survived .i am open to discussing this connection further . like who the other man was to your character , how the stand off went down , and the bitterness / bad blood between these two characters as charlie's sister also died during that stand off .

hi everyone and happy tuesday ! i will be away from the main in a few hours as i unfortunately have to work today but i wanted to pop in for a bit of an interest check with this group and the way it currently is while throwing my feelers out for a possible alternative idea if this specific one doesn't gain traction which is the idea of a group indie style post apocalyptic rp . essentially , the main plot would serve as a main verse that everyone within the group can/should participate in while members can create their own verses for their characters outside of the main plot but is still within the permameters of post apocalyptic themes that others within the group can participate with them . they could have a pre-outbreak verse , one verse where their character is the hero but another where their character is a hardened survivor , a verse situated in the world of the last of us or twd or days gone or any other post apocalypse media , etc . i would love to come back from work with some feedback or even what rpers would like to see when it comes to the genre of horror / post apocalypse .

the  connection :  they found gabe when he was in pretty bad shape after being left for dead by their now ex - partner . he was wounded , not infected , but alive . they took a chance despite their better judgment and patched him up . made sure that he was okay . made sure he could get healthy again . the two probably didn't plan on traveling with each other after that but that's how it worked out . the two have a bit of a hot and cold friendship considering gabe doesn't completely trust them even if they haven't given him a reason not to . you don't need to message me to apply for this connection but if you have any questions then feel free to !

the  connection :  they didn't know each other before the outbreak . gabe met them by scavenging through an old house at the same time they were . there was a lot of mistrust in the beginning . the two initially went their separate ways before , surprisingly , running into each other again . maybe it was coincidence or fate but probably against both their better judgment , they decided to travel together . somewhere along the way their relationship turned romantic but things went south very fast . the two ran into some infected . things got dicey . gabe found himself in a dangerous predicament and when he looked to them for help - they bailed leaving him for dead or worse . it's been some time since the two have come across each other and the connection is very much left open for another side of the story like why they bailed . if it was intentional or if they were just scared or made a split decision they may not be able to come back from . everything about this character including their background is completely UTP and i'm open to discussing more details abou this connection .

the  connection :  the two had a pretty happy and healthy relationship before the outbreak happened . they were together for at least two years before they got engaged and while they didn't get to have their wedding due to the outbreak , the two did exchange rings . for a while , they managed to survive at the matthews' family farmhouse along with charlie's parents and her sister , caroline . holdng up at the farmhouse worked for a while until it was raided by another group . the farmhouse went up in flames and charlie/her sister were separated from everyone else and haven't seen them since . there's a lot of flexibility here in terms of timeline , where he's been , what he's been up to , how he's survived , and ultimately if there's any salvaging the relationship they once had with how different they are . this doesn't in any way have to be a ship as natural chemistry is important and this can very much just be something filled with tension and angst .
