Went for a walk in Frogerparken yesterday afternoon with coffecups and chats. Beautiful lighting on a fine early spring day.
me and Anders went to Hovedøya to relax after what has been a terrible week. Everyday life seems to have settled over Oslo again
Over 200.000 people attended the rose ceremony in Oslo in memory of the victims of the Oslo bombing and the Utøya massacre

Here’s some quotes from Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg’s speech at the memoral service:
Today it is time for sorrow. We shall allow ourselves to stop, and honour the dead. Mourn for those who are no more. 92 human lives are lost. Several are still missing. Each and everyone of those is a tragedy. Together, they make a national tragedy.
Amid the tragedy I am proud to live in a country that has managed to stand firm. I am impressed over how much dignity, care and strength we have. We are a small country, but we are a proud people. We are still shaken, but we will never give up our values. Our answer is more democracy and openness, never naivety.
Cites a girl from the AUF camp (the youth Labour party): “If one man can show so much hatred, imagine how much love we can all show together.
Hope to see thousands of lights tomorrow.

Maria Mena - Mitt lille land (2011)
After the terrorist attacks the Norwegian artist, Maria Mena, was urged by young people to record her version of the Ole Paus-song “Mitt lille Land” (My little country). She has, in collaboration with TV 2, made this version in remembrance and for comfort.
Lyrics translation: My little country A small place where a handful of peace thrown out among the plains and the sea My little country, where the mountains are planted between the houses and people and words. And where silence and dreams grow. As an echo in the barren soil. My little country, where the sea is stroking gently and softly, like a caress from coast to coast. My little country, where the stars slip by and become a landscape when it gets light. while at night, is pale and silent.

Supermons @ Majorstua, headed back after chillin' in the park. And according to his t-shirt, rather unsoaked. haha :)
time-out in the Vigelands park.
'tis the season for ICE CREAM! Yay
View from Oscar's, a Turkish restaurant serving the best mixed grill plate in town. Just love the mix of old and new, polished surfaces and graffiti, nature and concrete - oppositional views that often can be spotted in this city.
Oh and yeah, I'm back from my Swedish break.
Some more photos snapped of Katja whilst having drinks at Oslo Mekaniske earlier today. Lovely afternoon with a lovely lady.
The ever so fabulous Katja @ Grønland, Oslo
