A clip of Erika Kirk's entrance during Sunday's memorial for conservative personality Charlie Kirk has gone viral on social media.

The video began with the widow walking onto a red-carpeted stage, complete with pyrotechnics and music.

Thankfully Charlie Kirk's family has chosen to honor his life with a public memorial service as opposed to the family funeral.

A public memorial service for Charlie Kirk has been scheduled for Sunday, September 21 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ according to a statement from Turning Point USA

“Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend,” the Kirk-founded organization announced in an X post. The stadium is the home of the Arizona Cardinals, who will be out of town for an away game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Doors are expected to open at 8 a.m., according to the organization, and the program was planned to begin at 11 a.m.

Kirk was honored by air traffic control operators in Phoenix: “Welcome home, Charlie. You didn’t deserve it… May God bless your family,” an air traffic control operator said as the aircraft was taxiing on the runway.
