Only a week to go before Mac and Laura join us at Cabaret.  Who are you inviting to a laid back evening with stories of faith?

This evening Andy and Sue host us for Pizza Night.  Hope to see you there.

On Sunday we look at the Wildly Wonderful World, Dave continues his series on Energy, catch you on some stories and news and finish by brunching together.  It all kicks off at 10.30am. 

Join us on Wednesday to focus on God and His presence.  John Clifford will be speaking on worry.  That’s Encounter 8pm Wednesday at the Lansdowne Hall.

Prayer Breakfast on Monday.  9am in the Upper Room at Wetherspoons.  Last week Pete and Kath encouraged us to devote ourselves in prayer, being watchful and thankful.  Let see how we get on.  Stay for a late breakfast afterwards.

The next Cabaret Connexion features Cornish based indie duo Mac and Laura Johnston.  Enjoy an uplifting blend of British and American alternative folk and stories of faith all in a laid-back setting.

This weekend Pete and Kath Atkins are with us again.  We look forward to hearing what God has put on their heart for us on Sunday.  Rolf leads the sung worship.  Hope to see you there.

This Sunday you are invited to pack up a picnic and head to John Coles Park where Sarah and Rolf are your hosts. The fun starts at 12pm and it looks like the weather's going to be perfect. There's lots for the kids to do in the park but feel free to bring footballs and frisbees. Hope to see you there.   They will be near the band stand.

Over the summer we are getting together in homes and the local park.  So next Sunday (29 July) join us from 10.30am at Sue and David’s for croissant and coffee.  Knowing David I am sure there might be a bacon sarnie going too.  Details of the full programme on the website

This Sunday is the last time we get together at the Hall before the summer.  Rolf leads the sung worship, we’ll catch up on some stories and news and Dave will be speaking.  Hope to see you there.

It’s the Fete on Saturday and Dayspring are serving the cream teas.  Thanks to those helping and baking.  Great family afternoon out. 

On Sunday we welcome Christ Church, Derry Hill to the Lansdowne Hall as we worship together.  The joint event starts 11am sharp and we finish with a bring and share lunch.  Hope to see you there. 

On Monday Renewed meet from 1.30pm at Linda and Roy’s.

On Wednesday Women’s Group meet from 8pm.  Need to ask Carole what’s planned.

Friday it’s Pizza Night.  Sue and Andrew are hosting.  Hopefully the weather will hold and we can enjoy the garden.  The Fire Pit will be up to temperature and they are providing a potato curry, bread and salad. People can bring whatever they want to cook, on the fire or on the hot plate, perhaps some salads to share and whatever they want to drink. There will be plenty of ice cubes on hand.  The oven will also be available for those preferring pizza.  Ice cream brioches for pudding if you have room.  Hopefully see you there.  

Sunday 15 July Christ Church join us for an event together and bring and share lunch afterwards.  Join us at the Lansdowne Hall.

Who’s looking forward to Midsummer Camp this weekend? 

Our Sunday morning event is happening at Camp from 11am.  Join us and stay for lunch. 

Saturday 14 July it’s the Derry Hill and Studley Fete.  We are serving the cream teas.  Let us know if you can help or are up for some baking.  The Fete starts at 2pm and runs to around 5pm.  It’s a good family day out. 

Sunday 15 July we meeting together with the folks from Christ Church Derry Hill.  10.30am at the Lansdowne Hall followed by a Bring and Share Lunch.
