So this is love..
You sit in the one of lawn chairs that Benny had set up in the bed of his truck, having a cold beer talking with Pink, Don, Mel, and Benny. You and the boys had made plans to to the emporium to hang out there, but you had already made plans with your close friend Jodi Kramer, but the boys don't know that. But did they really need to? You drink the beer in your hand listening to Benny rant about a bunch of junior high kids that tried to get out of being spanked. You never bother the new freshmen. They have done nothing to you, so why bother them.
"Hey N/N, you in for tonight?" Pink brings you back to reality with his question. You look at the boys who have their focus on you. "Um, sorry, I have plans already.." You look away at the thought of being out with Jodi and her being up close to you like she always is.
"Plans? With who?" Mel asks curiously. You look at them feeling more cocky now. "Me and Jdoi are going out." You say with a cocky smirk on your face. Benny jumps up, and so does Don. "You! You and Jodi are totally more than friends!" Don points a finger at you and dismiss it away with a look on your face. "I mean, she does get touchy-" You are interrupted with Mel standing up in the bed and clapping like you just won an award. "Go get 'em Tigger!" He says, making everyone, including you, laugh. You look at your watch to see it's almost 5 the time you are to meet with Jodi. You dismiss yourself and head to your car.
When you enter the driver's seat, you sit there. You are a lucky man, Y/N 'N/N' L/N. You think to yourself, starting your car up and heading to Jodi's house.
When you get there, you see Jodi and her younger brother Mitch outside talking. You turn your car off, and when you exit it, you are met with Jodi's embrace. A smile crawls onto your face as she hugs you tight. "Hey there, sweetheart. Want me just to drive you?" You ask, and she blushes at the nickname. "Sure, why not?" She smiles at you as you wave to Mitch before getting into the car with you in the driver's seat and her in the passenger seat. You start up the car and head the diner you two wanted to try.
When you get there, you park the car and take the keys out of the ignition. You two sit there for a minute before Jodi turns to you. "Hey, y/n, I was talking with my friends, and I now feel comfortable and confident to ask this." She pauses a minute, and you hope she is about to ask what you think. All of a sudden, you are met with her soft lips. Your eyes widen but quickly soften in the kiss, and you become putty in her hands. You stay like that for about 60 seconds before she releases to catch her breath. "Wanna be my boyfriend?" She asks, and you smirk at her. So this is love..The thing you have been hearing about from all your friends. Love.
You bring yourself closer to her to whisper in her ear a yes. She smiles, and you two kiss again before exiting the car and she links her left arm with your right as you two walk in the diner and have your first date with your new girlfriend, Jodi Kramer.
