Muzan Kibutsuji ⸻ is the main antagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is the first and most powerful demon, responsible for creating all other demons. Over a thousand years ago, Muzan was a human suffering from a terminal illness. In an attempt to cure himself, he took an experimental medicine that turned him into a demon, granting him immortality and superhuman abilities but also making him vulnerable to sunlight.
