.: ゚・ .╰ ✧ With pain reflected in her forest green eyes, Tauriel gazed at her, knowing she would not be the bearer of the grim news. Nontheless, she still had it, and it did not belong to her. With careful steps, she gazed at the rune-stone one last time, and delivered to their mother.
❝Before he…❞ Her words faded into nothing, releasing a trembling sigh. ❝He gave me this a rune-stone. As a promise once was made to you.❞ Her eyes than lifted from the cold stone in her hand, meeting the other’s eyes. ❝I could not carry it no longer… I am so sorry.❞

When she heard steps coming towards her, Dís rose her head to look at the elleth standing before her. She had been aware that she would receive a visit, an important one. Never had she thought that it would be from an elleth, less bringing her news about her sons.
As she took back the rune stone, Dís frowned, her sapphire blue eyes not understanding at first. But the tone the elleth adopted and the apology made it clear: they were gone. Kilí was gone. Her baby boy, so reckless but loving had been taken away from her heart. A part of her soul was taken away, following both of her sons ones. This couldn’t be possible.
As she processed over the fact that the only thing left she could have was this stone, Dís gulped in a painful way and try to say something. The only words she could bring out were: “T-Thank you...”
