The day is finally upon us- June 5, our grand opening! It's taken a few months of soft opening and continued efforts from our members and the staff team, but we're super proud of what we've achieved so far and we have so much planned for the near and far future!
Welcome to Dreams Come True, we're so excited to see what you have to bring!

WHAT'S NEXT?
Keep an eye out for:
Are canon positions set in stone (can't remember reading if so), and if not, can a role be added within reason? Like, adding Lead Dancer to a Main Vocalist, Maknae?
Canon positions are set in stone unless stated otherwise (such as in Tenere). However, there are the occasional revisions of positions within certain companies, in which case you can request to add a role as long as it fits your character!
Can I reserve the Main Vocalist, Maknae of Goldrush and the Lead Vocalist, Rapper of Hitouch for Ossie? Sorry, forgot to include my username in the previous reserve.
Following the two canon posts we just put out (1, 2), canon position reserves are now open! Every player is free to reserve two canon positions for now via our ask box. Don't forget to specify the group name and the positions you want!
On Dreams Come True, there are a selection of canon groups in which you may claim a spot. They are tied to age and positions, but most groups are still very flexible. In part two this two-part preview, you'll get a look at those canon groups under Hangsang Media and SRN Creative ahead of the position reserves!

On Dreams Come True, we have two main entertainment industries to work within- South Korea and China- with opportunities to expand as plots allow for it. In this preview, you'll get an overview of each of the canon music companies we have, as well as the group positions you can claim under them!
LYE LABEL
LYE's CEO, Lee Yeeun, had made a name for herself on the Korean trot music scene much before she established her company. LYE Label was her great plan for maintaining her presence on the music scene whilst shifting her energy to starting a family, and her mom-like approach to her idols shines through because of it. Generally, LYE treat their idols with a great deal of respect in return for their work. The downside? LYE does not believe in anything other than natural talent. Their training programme focuses on improving already acquired skills rather than teaching them from scratch. For this reason, their auditions are notoriously difficult to pass, and many of their idols trained at other companies before making it through or come from long lines of entertainment families.
Also known as Prison Entertainment by the general public and their talents alike, Prism are well-established as the strictest of the companies. It wasn't always like that- Prism was actually founded with a focus on musical quality than their idols' private lives. A series of scandals in the middle of the 00s brought about a change of management and the subsequent tightening of their rules which has idols deep into their twenties still sharing bedrooms in a dorm and strict penalties for contract breaches. Why do idol hopefuls still flock to Prism by the hundreds, then? Thanks to their success in the first generation of KPop & Shine's fixed position on the charts, any debut under Prism is basically guaranteed instant success.
Hangsang's tagline is short and simple- "Hangsang saranghae". They've made their name as the big three company that just isn't quite as bad as the others, namely because their artists are showered with an immense amount of love, support and creative freedom. It's also very well noted that Hangsang have been incorporating mental health awareness into their training program in recent years and their artists are encouraged to bring awareness to their cause. Every company has it's downsides, though, and Hangsang is no exception- their approach to PR is questionable at best and they've been known to fabricate scandals for their artists just to keep the company on the tip of everyone's tongues. With the regularity that Hangsang idols are announced in relationships, you'd think their company building is Seoul's own city of love, but breakups are sadly just as frequent.
Short for Serendipity, SRN is the youngest (yet most successful) of the biggest companies on the Korean music scene. Thanks to the global success of Tempted, SRN now bring in more money than LYE, Prism and Hangsang combined in a year, although Tempted's recent hiatus due to military obligations has allowed their newer acts to take on some of this load. Their CEO was a creative director under Prism with certain romantic entanglements with their CEO, and later formed the company not only to make a difference to the idol experience but also out of spite. As well as an abundance of creative freedom, SRN's artists dedicate a large portion of their album sales to a charity of their choice and have dedicated schedule time for volunteer work. What could be so bad about them, then? Well...
TOP PRODUCED TRACKS IN KPOP: a comprehensive guide for anyone looking to expand their music knowledge or simply looking for some new bops. this includes some of the best produced (mixed, arranged, composed) songs in kpop but it's in no way a definitive list and it's not ranked, but rather it follows a timeline where the listener can notice how the production of kpop songs has evolved throughout time. use of headphones highly recommended.
