it/its void bug-thing
16+ at minimum please, we're an adult and may post or joke about mature stuff
REMEMBER TO REBLOG FROM ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!! HOLY FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We block donation asks and pings because 1) there's no way to verify that the individual is truthful about their identity (and we're tired of the shitty guilt tripping going on in pinned posts), and 2) we don't have the reach nor the means to help in the first place
IT/ITS. VOID GIVEN FORM. NO THEY/THEM. NEOPRONOUNS ACCEPTED

Gaybian bug (multiple bugs, actually, but we do not indicate stuff here for whatever reason) - not a human, not a person, not cis or trans, not gendered, nothing of the sort. You may use archaic second-person pronouns, if you wish. đ
Not a âguyâ, or a âdudeâ, or your âbroâ, or your âsisâ if you insist on terminology being one or the other. Do not refer to us by gendered terms. Stop it. Stop it. Donât generalize groups by one gendered term either; you have gender-neutral language in English, so use it.
We like fiction that can be considered immoral and upsetting. We try to moderate ourselves here, but keep that in mind if you choose to dig into what we create and interact with.
If something is untagged or incorrectly tagged, please send an ask about it.
50/50 chance weâll take Hollow Knight art suggestions, feel free to send them

we will browse your blog and reblog things if we like them (threat)
we block extremely liberally, donât take it personally because we block even for things like hk or rw lore takes we dislike (or do take it personally, if you wish). you will be assumed to be a bot and therefore blocked if you follow without liking/reblogging anything and if your profile seems irrelevant (donât worry about that part if youâre an actual user though, because itâs pretty clear when an account is automatically following or reblogging based on their profile content, but false positives do happen)
(Further information under cut, including tags)
Please tag your pregnancy-related content or block us, even if said pregnancy content is a joke. There is massive discomfort surrounding the subject.
We block roleplay blogs whenever we see them (with a few exceptions) for personal comfort and so that fandom tags aren't clogged by them. You might have accidentally been caught in the crossfire if you posted on a Hollow Knight RP tag, even if you are a normal blog.
we donât check every blog we reblog from so if you happen to be super uncomfortable with us for whatever reason, or if you feel weâre on your no-entry list based on things expressed on this blog, you can just block and we wonât take it personally because itâs not our issue, itâs your own to deal with

Stances:
â Bugs are awesome. We're bugs. Block us if you dislike them in any form.
â Anybody is allowed to label themselves as whatever they want. We respect lesboys, turigirls, bi/pan lesbians and gays, xenogenders, and everyone of the sort. Aspec individuals of all kinds also deserve respect.
â Censorship is bad, actually, and it does not matter what someone's kinks are. Dark fiction/ships and characters who commit immoral acts are not the same as real-world abuse. If you have a problem with what someone creates, block them and move on.
â Tag your shit. If you do not tag your shit, then you do not get to argue "don't like, don't read." Don't welcome minors onto kink blogs and don't pressure your kinks onto others, and yes this includes forcefem, which is a CNC kink if that was not obvious.
â Fat individuals are awesome.
â Calling someone a "degenerate" is Nazi shit.
â Transfem and transmasc individuals don't hold meaningful power over one another and both deserve the right to label the oppression that they experience. Respect your trans sisters, brothers, and everyone in between.
â Reinventing the gender binary (and the sex binary for that matter) is bad, actually, and often both transphobic and intersexist.
â It isn't our problem whether non-traumagenic systems exist or not. Do not bring discourse here. Plurality is underresearched and still denied by some psychologists, so strictly aligning with "science" is a poor idea. Also, diagnoses are just a kind of label for a category of symptoms, which somebody can choose not to be represented by.
â Empathy and love don't equate to morality. We have no empathy and we are the best collective on this website.
â Disrespecting somebody's identity just because you dislike them is bad, actually.
â Ableism is bad. Using terminology like narcissist, sociopath, schizophrenic, et cetera to insult those you dislike is bad. If we see you doing that, you will explode. Also, reblog bait is hostile to those with OCD - if you post/repost "reblog if [x]" or "if you don't reblog this I will never forgive you" your blog becomes a free-for-all for those with OCD to plant bombs.
â Erasing the identities of genderless, nonbinary, and transgender characters is bad and an expression of your own transphobia. We will block everyone who misgenders the vessels from Hollow Knight on sight.
â Supporting the works of currently living bigots such as J.K. Rowling, even through "just" exposure, is bad.
Note: Misgendering a trans/enby/other character is different from headcanoning a character who isn't canonically transgender as a different gender. Referring to Kris from Deltarune by anything other than their canon pronouns and gender is transphobic because it removes that representation, whereas making Five Pebbles from Rain World into a trans woman is a harmless and cool headcanon. The exception to the misgendering rule is explicitly writing about a character's pre-transition self, if the character in question has a pre-transition self.
if i made a video game where you get to pick the gender of the player character i'd make both the options be nonbinary and you can either have they/them or it/its pronouns. those are your only options
If you are doing arts that require extensive environmental references (you know, like a long-form comic) that go beyond even what our excellent wikis contain, please consider using the interactive, high-definition Hollow Knight and Silksong maps by scripterswar. It will potentially make your life so much easier.
I'm not even kidding it's so clear that everyone sees black people and especially black women as some sort of alternate species. I'm getting into doll collection & customization videos because I've been getting into collecting myself and toys and art are supposed to bring me happiness and even there I can't escape the anti blackness. Like... you're lucky if you find a character or doll that's consistently brown skinned and carefully designed in popular brands. Collectors will always favor light skin or fantasy colors anyways. I had to watch a white creator call a custom Garnet doll "dummy thicc" and describe her in progress proportions as "female rappery" why couldn't you just have said curvy? You're not funny or cool and I'm very tired
so apparently some people feel like itâs annoying when someone engages with a lot of stuff from the same person, like going through their ship tag and liking all the content there.Â
hearing about this, i was immediately paranoid about reblogging literally anything from anyone i donât talk to on a regular basis.
so to save others from the same paranoia, iâm gonna say that if you like every single post on my goddamn blog it is okay. i might be kind of concerned about your level of time management, going through 23,000 posts, but it wouldnât bother me.Â
Iâm more than a little concerned at seeing recommended tumblr communities with names like âqueer teensâ or ânonbinary teensâ and advertising themselves as a space for teenagers as young as 13 to make friends with each other. I donât wanna sound like anyoneâs dad here, but this is⊠not safe. Anyone can join those communities, theyâre not private unless you make it private. You canât trust that everyone in there is actually a teenager, so please donât advertise your age or other peopleâs ages like that in online spaces. You can absolutely make private communities or discord servers with trusted friends, but not public communities that anyone can join, especially if those communities are specifically targeted at marginalisedâ and therefore vulnerableâ teenagers.
