A small laugh left his lips as Gideon spoke. “Yeah, sure. I think she just says that to make you happy.” He joked. Evan knew Hannah liked both of them, he even once caught her calling Gideon her dad. His heart melted when he heard it, not that he let his husband know about it. He turned to look at Hannah after getting the flour on his face, grinning. “You know, I think she just likes flour on everyone’s face.” He said after the girl calmed down from giggling.
A small sigh of relief left his lips when Gideon said Winnie had prepared some food for them. He was far too tired to cook, and he definitely wouldn’t trust his husband to prepare something… decent. “She’s not wrong. You definitely can’t cook.” He teased. He lingered by Gid’s lips for a moment, eyes closed, small smile on his lips. “Yeah, I’d like that.” He finally answered, pulling away slightly so he could look at the other. “I should probably shower, actually.”
“Oh she definitely does,” Gideon laughed, looking down at Hannah with a playful grin. He loved their family, despite never thinking it was possible. “Mhm, I definitely think she does,” Gideon laughed, before swiping up some flour and booping some on her nose. “There, now we all match.”
“Hey! I can cook... sometimes,” Gideon huffed, before shaking his head, “Wins is a lifesaver, isn’t she? Sometimes I forget she’s actually younger than us.” The smile never left his lips, watching his husband and their daughter. “Sounds good to me, and you definitely should, you smell,” He teased, “Doesn’t he Sunny?”
