Rick shifted in his footing as he studied the woman, “ Well—— mine.” A pause before quickly rushing, “ Well, for the mission. The Yakuza has a Metahuman trafficking pipeline. We need a reason to poke around where they're based.”

"So I play your wife on this mission. Alright, but you know me Rick, I don't do anything, what is it that you all call it, half assed. If we do this, we have to appear to be absolutely in love. The Yakuza are smart, brilliant warriors. They aren't going to fall for Amanda Waller levels of bullshit."

Very little could make him collapse and or kill and her kiss was one of the many things that couldn't do either. He squeezes her hips a bit, pulling her closer as he deepens the kiss in return. He moans back into the kiss, poking his tongue at her lips a bit.

She could feel her heart racing, practically beating out of her chest when he kissed her back, the way he gripped onto her. When his tongue pokes at her lips, she parts them, allowing him entrance, a soft moan following along.

Lucifer wasn't one to complain about being kissed, much less being kissed by a very beautiful woman in front of him. He smirks into the kiss as she kisses him. He puts his hands over her hips as he kisses her back with a hum.

Ivy cupped her hand around his face, deepening the kiss holding onto him. She couldn't help but moan softly against his lips, something about his kiss was intoxicating, normally they'd be collapsing by now, but not him.

"Honestly, who wouldn't hit their knees for Soldier Boy.. be patriotic.. Or whatever."

The man was not above flattery, and he enjoyed it from beautiful women. " Well, sweetheart, sometimes being predictable is better on an argument sheet. People who can make and live with decisions are too unpredictable."

"Still doesn't change the fact that he's lacking." She smiled at him. "If I had to choose between the two of you, it would be you, without a doubt." Flattery and flirting, two things Ivy was extremely good at, couple that with her seduction and well, she could bring just about any supe to their knees. But it was different with Soldier Boy, she didn't want to do that.

"Well, personally, if you ask me, which you totally aren't." Ivy smiled at him. "I think you are far better than he is. I hear he's a bit of a liability."

" No, dude was going to break the CIA up and take the nukes from those Europeans in the desert."

"Exactly so it's no surprise that they offed him." She gave him a knowing look. "So tell me, is it strange to know your son works for Vought?"

The man ran a press check over his pistol before standing and stepping around for another angle. "Second Wave coming in, grab a gun." Flag opened a cabinet, retrieving a Saw machine gun, slamming the ammo box inside, " I just fucking renovated." Before he opened fire, shooting through the side of his side, going outside and striking the men dead, as he checked the cameras.

"I'll help you rebuild. I'm so sorry Rick.. I didn't know where else to go. I feel really bad and fuck.." She starts firing at the guys, trying to take out anyone she can to help get them away from his place. She was a hell of s shot when it truly mattered. After she felt her gun run out of ammo she switched to using her bat.

" I fucking knew Vought and the CIA killed Kennedy!"

"Are you seriously surprised? Most shit like that is done by our own government." Ivy smirked. "A people wonder why I became the way I did."

The man ducked down to the railroad, turning over a coffee table to pull out a shotgun he had strapped beneath it. Stuffing his pockets with what rounds he didn't load. " you brought a bunch of numsckulls to my door. You're going to owe me big, blondie."

"I didn't know where else to go Rick.." Harley stammered out, grabbing her gun. "You're the only person I can trust." She felt his anger with her and he had every right to be. She had brought danger to his own safe haven. But what was she supposed to do, just die.

The man busied himself with shooting and reloading. It might seem like he was chill, but it was the practice of being in combat that kept him seemingly focused. " Then I guess I'm gonna have to kill all those assholes." Flag stopped when he heard an explosion by his front window. " Fucker's stepped in the flower garden."

"Fuck.." Harley jumped a bit and then went to loading her gun as well. "You wont be doing it alone." She looked at Rick apologetically. "I'm so sorry.. I.. didn't know what else to do.."

Harley knelt down in front of Rick where he sat, taking the items from his hands. She cupped his face in her palms and took a deep breath. "Rick, listen to me.." She paused. "I need you here with me, I can't lose you again. You are the only one..." She felt herself getting choked up. "You are the only one who believed in me.. who.. saw the real me."
