"Bon. Allons-y." She chuckled, starting towards the elevators. "That’s a relief. We’ll be seeing each other often then. I moved in only 2 days before you, so I’m not awfully familiar with the place myself. Feels good to not be the only newbie, actually." She explained, getting into the elevator and pressing the intended floor’s button. "So far I’ve met the bartender, briefly though, and another girl… I can’t remember if she mentioned what her job was, but her name was Gabbana. Both seemed pretty sweet." She paused, stepping out of the elevators, "A few others greeted me, but I don’t remember catching all of their names."
Jieun bit her lip as she listened carefully to Irene's words. She felt as if the other girl had the upper-hand, knowing so many other people. Jieun told herself she had barely been here a few hours - but it didn't help much. She still felt a little on the outside of things. At least she knew one person now. "I've met a few people," Jieun replied eventually, "Not many, though."

As she gave him a tight smile, and stated that they will be working closely from now on, Sehun just blinked in response. Waiting for her to continue, the boy rolled his eyes as she stated that it would be good to introduce herself. He watched her as she sat across him and gave him her name. Jieun or IU in public. “Nice to meet you, Jieun,”he said, his voice monotone. He took a sip of his bubble tea.
"I’m Sehun. You may call me Prince Sehun," he said, referring to his high school nickname. He was aloof and that gave off the spoiled impression. He finished the bubble tea and sighed, looking at the glass. "That sucks," he muttered to himself. Looking over at Jieun, he placed his face on his hands.
"So, are you my noona?"he asked, his tone and face bored.
So far, the boy was fitting in perfectly with Jieun's idea and first impression of him. She tried not to clench her jaw as he reacted to her words. "Nice to meet you too," she said.
"Prince Sehun?" She chuckled. She bit her lip, then, when he asked the question. She gave the boy a once over and decided it was likely she was and nodded, "Yes, I think so."

"Ah! Bien sur!" She exclaimed, a light hearted laugh escaping her lips. It was as if her grouchiness from only moments ago were erased completely. A wide smile rested on her lips as her features brightened.
"So you work on the Swing Set as well, n’est-ce pas?" The petite female glanced at the box in the latter’s arms, noticing that they were both still standing at the door of her neighbour’s room. "Well… go on. Don’t just stand there, put the box away. The clock’s ticking and it’d soon be the start of our shifts." She remarked hautyly.
Jieun didn't miss the drastic improvement in Irene's mood. It almost made her chuckle.
She had almost forgotten about the box in her hands - so she was surprised when the other mentioned it. "Yes, I work in the Swing Set," she said and she quickly deposited the box in her room and shut the door behind it. Then she decided to let down her hair and did so, running her fingers through it afterwards.

Her tongue slowly glazed over her lower lip as she threw a glance down the hall, in the direction of the elevators. Perhaps it would be a good idea to invite the latter for a glass, that way she can both chat with her, but also satisfy her craving. Two birds with one stone.
"Very well, IU, or Jieun… since there’s none but us at the moment." She let out an easier chuckle, her spirits lifting up a tad as she contemplated what her order to the bartender would be. "Would you like to join me for a drink? It gets real busy at night, and headaches are no friendly companions to the workers in this building, I’d say. —What’s your job here by the way?"
She almost knew what the question would be before it left Irene's mouth. It was if she had some sense of the other's cravings. Or maybe it was the way she eyeing the elevator that lead to the clubs, to the bar.
At the mention of headaches she could almost feel her head throb and though she was trying to distance herself from drinking, Irene's words were true. "Of course," She nodded and added, "I work as a hostess," to answer the question that was asked.

She noticed the other flinch, yet didn’t apologize for giving her a start. It was simply that she didn’t feel like it, the sour mood taking over her mind and the growing headache increasing her irritation. She didn’t recognize any familiarity in the girl’s features, and quite thankfully, the last thing she’d ever want is to cross paths with anyone from her previous world… anyone.
"The pleasure is mine." Letting a lopsided smile reside on her face, she bobbed her head briefly, reckoning the appreciation, "And in public? What do I call you? Miss Flutterberry?" She joked dryly.
The girl - Irene - was someone Jieun found hard to read. Though she sensed a little disdain, a slight annoyance in her features, Jieun could decode nothing besides that. It made her weary and possibly a little more calculated in her interactions with this girl.
Still, she feigned a smile at her joke and shook her head a little. "In front of clients I prefer not to use my real name," Jieun explained, "So just IU."

She had no scheduled appointment for the next few hours, and that seemed acceptable for the time being. It would be sometime before she makes a reputation big enough for her to have a busy schedule, but thanks to the decent pay of the job, at least financially she could support herself for a few more days. If she cut down on the liquor that is.
But who’s to tell her she needs to hold back? Not the voice in her head, that’s for sure, nor the thirst in her throat that craved and longed for the variety of flavours that sedated her mind and soothed her soul.
That bar, was exactly where she was heading when she spotted a young girl, possibly the same age as herself, seemingly moving into the room across from hers and about one door down the right.
She clenched her teeth firmly, swallowing dryly as she attempted a smile. Might as well be on good terms with a neighbour, who knows what could happen around these areas, it’d be good to have an ally.
"Uhm… Hello. I suppose you’re new here too, right? Welcome to the Den. I’m Irène.”
Jieun had felt as if this day was going on forever. She had woken up early to finish packing and then proceeded to load the boxes to be moved to her new living space. Not that she had much to bring with her, her clothes and a few other things. She hadn't had much since she moved out.
It now seemed the afternoon was finally coming to a close as she saw the last box dropped off into her new home. She rubbed her temples, afraid a headache was coming on. Perhaps her ponytail was just too tight.
She nearly jumped in surprise when a voice seemingly came from nowhere. It hadn't, of course, it belonged to a girl who looked almost familiar - but not quite. As if she had only glanced her once or twice in passing. Regardless, it seemed this girl was her neighbour come to introduce herself.
Jieun nodded slowly, "I am," she replied. "I appreciate the welcome, thank you. In private you can call me Jieun, it's nice to meet you Irene."

Having just joined the Swing Set and hosting in general, Sehun felt awkward. The young boy couldn’t think that this was what he got in exchange from running away from that Ahjumma that he lived with. A full club but with no approaches. Sehun blinked and adjusted his position a slight bit to be more comfortable.
A bubble tea rested on the table in front of the boy and Sehun took quiet sips from his beloved drink, all the while, scanning the surroundings for people. He wasn’t big on people but his need for affection overpowered his dislike for people. As he scanned his surroundings, he noticed a girl approaching him. Relatively pretty, as most girls with a ton of makeup go, but still pretty. Maybe a bit older than him.
Sehun acknowledged the girl with a nod, once she approached him. His bored eyes merely looked her up and down and he took a sip from his bubble tea. “Hi.”
Jieun couldn't say she was surprised the boy was mostly impassive when she advanced to greet him. He was at the age for it. And he worked as a host so Jieun knew consciously there was a part of him that enjoyed attention and quite possibly thought himself better than others. Of course, he could always prove her wrong.
She managed a tight smile, which she hoped didn't seem too forced. "I think we'll be working closely from now on," She said to him, tilting her head slightly, "I thought it would be a good idea for me to introduce myself."
She took the seat across from his cooly, fixing her skirt slightly where it rumpled. "My name is Jieun," she continued, "in private it's fine to call me by that, however when around clients I'd rather be referred to as IU."

Jieun sat quietly, waiting to be approached with any information about a client or by a client themselves, but no one came. Her mouth was chalky with her lipstick, eyelashes sticky with mascara. She thought about maybe getting a drink but - No, she shook her head. She had never been good at keeping her wits about her with alcohol and she had to far to work to reach her goal to be distracted.
Jieun had noticed a new presence in the Swing Set recently. A boy, who didn't look much older than herself. He had an interesting face, generally handsome with certain features that made him unique.
Jieun gently gathered her hair over her shoulder, wishing she had opted to tie it up. She sighed. If there was any time to introduce herself it was now.
