Hello! Welcome to my DPS oc rp/ask sideblog! You may recognize me from my The Outsiders oc sideblog with the same purpose (I’ve also got a lot of other blogs with this same purpose over on the pinned post of my main blog @luke-skywalkers-chanel-boots)

ANYWAYS!! The rules on that blog apply here as well, BUT, just in case you're new to this, I'll put them here too

It was a fairly sunny day today, considering the usual weather in Vermont. It was the first day back from summer vacation, and everyone was wishing they had at least a week more off from school.

Jasper Kenneth sat at his desk in his first period class, history class, scribbling on a sheet of paper. It wasn’t any legible image in particular, just someone drawing messy shapes on a sheet of paper because they had a pencil in hand and nothing else to do, as class hadn’t officially started yet.

After a moment of this, Jasper felt a sharp slap on both of his shoulders and a voice with the harshness of a military sergeant behind him. “Look alive, boyo, we’re bout to march into hell!”

The thick New York accent gave it away. Jasper turned around and saw greasy dark blonde hair and hazel eyes with a teasing glint to them. Eddie. He laughed. “You asshole!”

Right next to Eddie was Scottie, his usual friendly grin on his face. “Heya, Screw!” He said, taking a seat at the desk right across the aisle from him. “How was your summer?” As he asked this, Eddie slumped into the seat behind Scottie, looking at Jasper with a lazy lift of his eyebrows to signal interest.

“Oh, I went with Charlie and his family to their lake house. It was pretty fun.” Jasper looked over to the doorway of the classroom. He saw another mop of dirty blonde hair, this one more mess and almost unkept, and shifty eyes, all on a scrawny frame. Lonan.

Eddie followed Jasper’s gaze and saw the other boy. Flashing a grin, he waved him over. “Loch, get over here!”

Lonan, who in fact was dreading actually stepping into the classroom was bullshitting with his brother, Lazarus, right by the entrance. the mop of unkempt blonde and longer unruly brunette both complimented and polarized them both, but the creepiness only elevated when they both glared over at the exact same time. the dna was horrifying.

" .. do i’s go soc’lize or is you comin’ with? "

Lonan huffed, hissing and annoyed and shuffled over towards the group of greasers — tie not at all done, shirt unbuttoned a few at the top, trousers creased and jacket thrown over is shoulder. an annoyed and cold brow cocked upon his arrival, glancing between the three of them. not in the mood for tomfoolery.

Lazarus, on the other hand, walked straight over, uniform perfectly done minus rolled up sleeves, and took place directly next to Eddie. exhaling, quietly, and leaning slightly against his frame. watching the interaction about to go down. we love a little brotherly stalking.

Eddie gave a small smile to Lazarus, then looked at Lonan and gave a casual nod. He tried not to move too much, not wanting to disturb his boyfriend. “You look like shit. You wake up late or somethin?”

Jasper turned to get a better look at Lonan, grinning. “Hey, Lonnie!” He paused, looking him up and down. “Yeesh, Eddie’s right, you *do* look like hell.. More than usual.” He added the last part in a playful tone.

Scottie, however, was as friendly as ever. One of the only nice ones in the group. “Hi, Loch! You and Laz have a good summer?”

Lazarus was pleased with his perch, head on his boyfriend’s shoulder every once and awhile just coexisting happily. daring to snicker at the comments regarding his brother, even flicking the back of his ear which almost made lonan straight up beat the shit out of him.

Lonan, after convincing himself not to beat the shit out of his brother, huffed and hissed, flipping everyone but Scottie off, even some mocking before rolling his eyes. " is church season, I ain’t get no free passes. up at 4 bed at 11. thank th’fuckin gods we back. " he grumbled, glaring once again at Laz who was about to get his ass best if he kept fucking with him. " been fine scotts, thankins. " he murmured, shivering before chucking his jacket directly in Laz’s face. his ear was poked. war was about to begin. Eddie instinctively tugged Lazarus closer to him (even if he was perfectly capable of defending himself). He rolled his eyes. “Oh, shut the hell up, Loch.”

Jasper shook his head. He pointed at Lonan for emphasis. “*That* is why I never go to church with you. I’m not waking up that early just to sit around all silent.”

Scottie interlocked his hands behind his head, looking rather pleased. “Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I had a pretty good summer. I convinced George and Margaret to let me spend the summer with my brother at his place. I hadn’t seen him in a while, so it was pretty awesome.”

Laz was smug as could be, cocky grin on his face. not a care in the world. pleased honestly.

Loch? he was not. he quite literally shoved Eddie out of the way to beef with his brother, which only ended in them both having broken noses within two minutes. Lonan pouting, sat in the edge of jaspers desk meanwhile laz was licking his teeth, grinning. brotherly love.

Jasper just laughed and Eddie wiped at Laz’s nose, shooting Lonan dirty looks that said “I’m gonna kick your ass later”

Scottie just blinked and sighed. He put his head down on his desk. He expected no less from his friends.

" look at ‘em fags, scotts. " Lonan huffed, shaking his head as he leaned over to him, clicking his tongue. " ain’t never gon’ see me look tha’ dumb,. " he huffed, and then immediately felt eyes on him and jasper. and thoroughly ignored it.

Eddie looked between Jasper and Lonan with narrowed eyes after the latter said that, but just went back to wiping his boyfriend’s bloody nose.

Scottie shared a knowing look with Eddie, then turned his attention to his notebook, drawing something in one of the corners of it’s pages. Unlike Jasper’s bored scribbles from earlier, the image was actually resembling something.. It looked like a pair of eyes?

Lonan merely huffed, going back to kicking his legs off the edge of the desk before eventually laying flat, just staring up at Jasper. mentally mapping out his face, the beauty marks, wrinkles, small little scars. his eyes looked fucking horrifying but the intention was sweet.

Laz, on the other hand, eventually parted from Eddie — shifting over to now go harass Scottie. getting all up in his personal space like he usually did, stalking the drawing that he was doing. adding in his own little scribbles surrounding.

Jasper just continued his mindless scribbling, chewing on his lower lip to occupy his attention.

Scottie tried to move his notebook away from Lazarus, his cheeks red with embarrassment that he saw the drawing. “Hey, go draw your own stuff!”

Eddie quirked an eyebrow up. “What’s the matter, Conroy?”

Jasper craned his neck to look at Scottie’s notebook. He smirked when he saw the image. “Ohhh, I know what it is.”

Scottie gave him a look that said “shut up”

Laz, in fact, did not respect this. he straight up just decided he was going to invade every ounce of personal space known to mankind.

while also flicking rubber bands at Lonan.

Lonan had no real interest, until he was once again two seconds from beating the shit out of his brother. " .. screwie I ain’t worried what th’is but do sum’ before Lazzy end up 12ft below. " he murmured, one fist clenched behind his head, another reaching quietly for jaspers hand just out of view.

Jasper looked up and lightly flung an eraser at Lazarus’s head. “Cut it out, Laz.” He clasped at Lonan’s hand without a second thought.

Scottie widened his eyes at that, and made the sign of the cross as a joke before he made another effort to move the notebook away (the drawing seemed to be really personal to him..)

Eddie grabbed Laz’s shoulder, tugging at him. “Hey, Lazzy, maybe you should back off.”

he did back off, Laz did respect that. he walked for a second, paced, stood politely for a second before snapping the elastic of Lonans sock on his ankle. then he ran. why did he run? well you see when you poke a bear —

that bear fucking runs and chases that fucking fox down the hallway yelling at him about murder. which would end in detention most likely. but mainly murder. because what are two brothers if not the bane of one another’s existence. all the time. always. 100%.

The remaining greasers watched the two boys run down the hall and Eddie sighed. “Those idiots, I swear..” He muttered, leaning back in his seat, hands shoved in his pants pockets.

Scottie just laid his head on his folded arms and stared at the front of the room, just waiting for class to start at this point.

Jasper just smiled to himself as he stared at the door the two boys had ran out of. He laid his head down on his desk, staring out the window.

Lazarus returned right as their free period was almost ending, calm. collected. walked right back up to the gaggle of them before shifting down to sit back by Eddie as usual. though, even as class started, not a Lonan in sight.

Jasper noticed this and looked at Lazarus. “Hey, Laz, where’s Loch?”

" swimming with the fishes. “ one would only say this with the utmost confidence of someone who was previously associated with mafia, and because Lonan lived in that area? that could mean a plethora of things. he was actually, in the nearby creek — locked in a room somewhere, in detention, etc. Or Laz could’ve been an amazing brother and locked him outside in the fall weather with no jacket. you never know.

Eddie gave his boyfriend a look. “Lazzy. Where’s Lonan?”

" greeting creatures of the outdoors. " Lazarus just grinned, glancing over to his boyfriend.

He rolled his eyes. “Can’t stand ya sometimes, you know that?” He muttered, looking back to the front of the room where the teacher was getting ready to teach the lesson.

Eddie looked over at Lazarus, giving him a small smirk. “Damn right I wasn’t.” He murmured back.

Jasper and Scottie looked at each other. Jasper rolled his eyes and made a gagging motion (even made a gagging sound too). Scottie snickered.

All of a sudden, a stern male voice called from the front of the room. “Mr. Kenneth and Mr. Conroy. Do you care to share with the class what’s so hilarious you feel the need to disturb the lesson?”

Jasper and Scottie looked at each other again. Scottie decided to answer (he wouldn’t have an answer that would land him in detention). “It was nothing, sir. It won’t happen again.”

The teacher nodded once and made ‘hm’ sound, then turned back to the chalkboard. As he continued with the lesson, Jasper looked over at Eddie and Scottie, making a talking motion with his hands and rolling his eyes, after that he made a stabbing motion towards his eyes while grimacing. Scottie had to duck his face into his elbow at the last minute to muffle his laughter, and Eddie snickered into his palm.

Lazarus, in fact, found this hilarious. but his poker face was indeed much better than the rest of the ensemble of them.

The teacher whipped around to glare at them. Eddie immediately stopped, stone faced once more, and Scottie straightened up, trying to keep a neutral face.

The only one who didn’t know this was, unfortunately, Jasper.

“Mr. Kenneth, since you obviously think this class is a bore, perhaps you would prefer detention?” The teacher asked, sharply.

Jasper immediately stopped when his name was called and looked at the teacher. “Uhm.. No thank you?”

The teacher scowled. “You’re lucky that I respect the teachers at this school too much to force them to monitor you after school, so I’ll just add another demerit to your already-long list.”

Jasper actually *sighed* at that.

" oouuuhh screwball is in trouble. " Lazarus murmured, a grin on his face that he hid well behind hands — cocky. something scandalous.

Eddie shot him a glare right back. “Watch it, Screwie.” He whispered in a warning tone.

Jasper shut up after that.

Scottie snickered quietly at the scene playing out, but quieted down when Jasper narrowed his eyes at him, turning his attention back to the teacher.

once again Lazarus just watched this go down, cocky and grinning. watching the entire ordeal until class ended.

Eddie, Jasper and Scottie all three got up, collecting their things and preparing to head to their next class.

they all had roughly a 10 minute window between classes, so naturally Lazarus took off to go do god knows what since he had a separate class, saying goodbye to Eddie and nobody else. since, that was really the only person he gave a shit about in the greasers.

meanwhile, when everyone made it to the next classroom, Lonan was there. in an entirely new uniform. slumped back in the corner beyond pissed off. his hair was soaked, entire body cold, and fingertips wrinkly and hands overall a little bloody from beating on something.

Jasper let out a low whistle. “Damn, what happened to you?” He plopped down into the desk right across from Lonan.

Eddie and Scottie also sat down at their desks. Eddie was behind Lonan and Scottie was behind Jasper. Eddie was just looking with intrigue at the blonde (he’d seen him looking worse) and Scottie just looked concerned.

" gots locked ‘side, c’ldnt get in, grounds keepa’ had t’help me in. “ was the only thing he elaborated on, but the newly wrapped wrist of his from the nurse, semi wrapped hands, and aggravation definetely told that Lazarus was gonna get his ass best later. Lonan was quite literally shaking in pain. and cold, which was only a little new. brotherly love.

but, as always, because what are these two if not queer lonan leaned slightly on Jasper, hand gripping the edge of his own desk. as if literally none of the others mattered.

Eddie and Scottie exchanged a look but didn’t say anything.

" love ya’screwie. " the male murmured, sighing, quietly, finally feeling at some mild peace — hearing eddie grumble like normal.

until the teacher walked in, to which he flew up so fast it was a miracle he didn’t fall over — hands to himself, desks spaced, not a singular ounce of touch. " Eddie shut yo’mouth. " was the only thing muttered before Lonan locked in on the lesson at hand — horrified of the gay allegations. despite. quite literally being queer.

Eddie narrowed his eyes at the back of Jasper’s head, then shifted his gaze to Lonan. “Fuckin’ queers..” He grumbled, then started to actually pay attention to what the teacher was saying.

Scottie was just confused. He turned his attention to the lesson, knowing that he didn’t quite want any answers to his questions (they would just confuse him more).

Lonan with full confidence heard Eddie, slightly scowling, but just kept it off since class was starting. he probably would beat his ass later, or scream queer at him when Laz came back at the end of the day.

At one point in the lesson, a note was pushed onto Lonan’s desk.

On the small piece of paper was a brief message, written in a rather messy scrawl that Lonan very much recognized. “Hi :)”

Lonan sighed quietly, he really did try to pay attention. he’s a genuinely good student — he doesn’t fuck around.

but when Jasper slips the note?

it’s slid back. nothing said.

Lonan couldn’t help but just stifle a grin, strategically using his hand to cover his mouth as he puffed out something just short of a quiet snort. wincing when kicked just for dramatics, knowing it made Jasper feel good.

“Well, one half of that is true.” Jasper threw a quick smile over at Lonan, then looked back to the front of the room, pretending to pay attention once more.

Lonan, the queer motherfucker he was, couldn’t help but just quietly sighed something fond and mutually turned his attention back to the front — stuffing the note in his pocket. smiling.

After a while, class was over. The greasers all stood up and started to gather their things.

Lonan gathered his things fairly easily, yawning as he did before he did the usual and stuck himself firmly next to Jasper — showing no signs of moving anytime soon. once again mimicking something guard dog like.

and of course, as always, Lazarus waited outside for eddie. as any boyfriend would.

It was a fairly sunny day today, considering the usual weather in Vermont. It was the first day back from summer vacation, and everyone was wishing they had at least a week more off from school.

Jasper Kenneth sat at his desk in his first period class, history class, scribbling on a sheet of paper. It wasn’t any legible image in particular, just someone drawing messy shapes on a sheet of paper because they had a pencil in hand and nothing else to do, as class hadn’t officially started yet.

After a moment of this, Jasper felt a sharp slap on both of his shoulders and a voice with the harshness of a military sergeant behind him. “Look alive, boyo, we’re bout to march into hell!”

The thick New York accent gave it away. Jasper turned around and saw greasy dark blonde hair and hazel eyes with a teasing glint to them. Eddie. He laughed. “You asshole!”

Right next to Eddie was Scottie, his usual friendly grin on his face. “Heya, Screw!” He said, taking a seat at the desk right across the aisle from him. “How was your summer?” As he asked this, Eddie slumped into the seat behind Scottie, looking at Jasper with a lazy lift of his eyebrows to signal interest.

“Oh, I went with Charlie and his family to their lake house. It was pretty fun.” Jasper looked over to the doorway of the classroom. He saw another mop of dirty blonde hair, this one more mess and almost unkept, and shifty eyes, all on a scrawny frame. Lonan.

It was a fairly sunny day today, considering the usual weather in Vermont. It was the first day back from summer vacation, and everyone was wishing they had at least a week more off from school.

Jasper Kenneth sat at his desk in his first period class, history class, scribbling on a sheet of paper. It wasn’t any legible image in particular, just someone drawing messy shapes on a sheet of paper because they had a pencil in hand and nothing else to do, as class hadn’t officially started yet.

After a moment of this, Jasper felt a sharp slap on both of his shoulders and a voice with the harshness of a military sergeant behind him. “Look alive, boyo, we’re bout to march into hell!”

The thick New York accent gave it away. Jasper turned around and saw greasy dark blonde hair and hazel eyes with a teasing glint to them. Eddie. He laughed. “You asshole!”

Right next to Eddie was Scottie, his usual friendly grin on his face. “Heya, Screw!” He said, taking a seat at the desk right across the aisle from him. “How was your summer?” As he asked this, Eddie slumped into the seat behind Scottie, looking at Jasper with a lazy lift of his eyebrows to signal interest.

“Oh, I went with Charlie and his family to their lake house. It was pretty fun.” Jasper looked over to the doorway of the classroom. He saw another mop of dirty blonde hair, this one more mess and almost unkept, and shifty eyes, all on a scrawny frame. Lonan.

It was a fairly sunny day today, considering the usual weather in Vermont. It was the first day back from summer vacation, and everyone was wishing they had at least a week more off from school.

Jasper Kenneth sat at his desk in his first period class, history class, scribbling on a sheet of paper. It wasn’t any legible image in particular, just someone drawing messy shapes on a sheet of paper because they had a pencil in hand and nothing else to do, as class hadn’t officially started yet.

After a moment of this, Jasper felt a sharp slap on both of his shoulders and a voice with the harshness of a military sergeant behind him. “Look alive, boyo, we’re bout to march into hell!”

The thick New York accent gave it away. Jasper turned around and saw greasy dark blonde hair and hazel eyes with a teasing glint to them. Eddie. He laughed. “You asshole!”

Right next to Eddie was Scottie, his usual friendly grin on his face. “Heya, Screw!” He said, taking a seat at the desk right across the aisle from him. “How was your summer?” As he asked this, Eddie slumped into the seat behind Scottie, looking at Jasper with a lazy lift of his eyebrows to signal interest.

“Oh, I went with Charlie and his family to their lake house. It was pretty fun.” Jasper looked over to the doorway of the classroom. He saw another mop of dirty blonde hair, this one more mess and almost unkept, and shifty eyes, all on a scrawny frame. Lonan.

“Mr. Kenneth, since you obviously think this class is a bore, perhaps you would prefer detention?” The teacher asked, sharply.

Jasper immediately stopped when his name was called and looked at the teacher. “Uhm.. No thank you?”

The teacher scowled. “You’re lucky that I respect the teachers at this school too much to force them to monitor you after school, so I’ll just add another demerit to your already-long list.”

they all had roughly a 10 minute window between classes, so naturally Lazarus took off to go do god knows what since he had a separate class, saying goodbye to Eddie and nobody else. since, that was really the only person he gave a shit about in the greasers.

meanwhile, when everyone made it to the next classroom, Lonan was there. in an entirely new uniform. slumped back in the corner beyond pissed off. his hair was soaked, entire body cold, and fingertips wrinkly and hands overall a little bloody from beating on something.

Jasper let out a low whistle. “Damn, what happened to you?” He plopped down into the desk right across from Lonan.

Eddie and Scottie also sat down at their desks. Eddie was behind Lonan and Scottie was behind Jasper. Eddie was just looking with intrigue at the blonde (he’d seen him looking worse) and Scottie just looked concerned.

It was a fairly sunny day today, considering the usual weather in Vermont. It was the first day back from summer vacation, and everyone was wishing they had at least a week more off from school.

Jasper Kenneth sat at his desk in his first period class, history class, scribbling on a sheet of paper. It wasn’t any legible image in particular, just someone drawing messy shapes on a sheet of paper because they had a pencil in hand and nothing else to do, as class hadn’t officially started yet.

After a moment of this, Jasper felt a sharp slap on both of his shoulders and a voice with the harshness of a military sergeant behind him. “Look alive, boyo, we’re bout to march into hell!”

The thick New York accent gave it away. Jasper turned around and saw greasy dark blonde hair and hazel eyes with a teasing glint to them. Eddie. He laughed. “You asshole!”

Right next to Eddie was Scottie, his usual friendly grin on his face. “Heya, Screw!” He said, taking a seat at the desk right across the aisle from him. “How was your summer?” As he asked this, Eddie slumped into the seat behind Scottie, looking at Jasper with a lazy lift of his eyebrows to signal interest.

“Oh, I went with Charlie and his family to their lake house. It was pretty fun.” Jasper looked over to the doorway of the classroom. He saw another mop of dirty blonde hair, this one more mess and almost unkept, and shifty eyes, all on a scrawny frame. Lonan.

Eddie followed Jasper’s gaze and saw the other boy. Flashing a grin, he waved him over. “Loch, get over here!”

Laz, on the other hand, eventually parted from Eddie — shifting over to now go harass Scottie. getting all up in his personal space like he usually did, stalking the drawing that he was doing. adding in his own little scribbles surrounding.

Lazarus, on the other hand, walked straight over, uniform perfectly done minus rolled up sleeves, and took place directly next to Eddie. exhaling, quietly, and leaning slightly against his frame. watching the interaction about to go down. we love a little brotherly stalking.

Eddie gave a small smile to Lazarus, then looked at Lonan and gave a casual nod. He tried not to move too much, not wanting to disturb his boyfriend. “You look like shit. You wake up late or somethin?”

Jasper turned to get a better look at Lonan, grinning. “Hey, Lonnie!” He paused, looking him up and down. “Yeesh, Eddie’s right, you *do* look like hell.. More than usual.” He added the last part in a playful tone.

Scottie, however, was as friendly as ever. One of the only nice ones in the group. “Hi, Loch! You and Laz have a good summer?”

Lazarus was pleased with his perch, head on his boyfriend’s shoulder every once and awhile just coexisting happily. daring to snicker at the comments regarding his brother, even flicking the back of his ear which almost made lonan straight up beat the shit out of him.

Lonan, after convincing himself not to beat the shit out of his brother, huffed and hissed, flipping everyone but Scottie off, even some mocking before rolling his eyes. " is church season, I ain’t get no free passes. up at 4 bed at 11. thank th’fuckin gods we back. " he grumbled, glaring once again at Laz who was about to get his ass best if he kept fucking with him. " been fine scotts, thankins. " he murmured, shivering before chucking his jacket directly in Laz’s face. his ear was poked. war was about to begin. Eddie instinctively tugged Lazarus closer to him (even if he was perfectly capable of defending himself). He rolled his eyes. “Oh, shut the hell up, Loch.”

Jasper shook his head. He pointed at Lonan for emphasis. “*That* is why I never go to church with you. I’m not waking up that early just to sit around all silent.”

Scottie interlocked his hands behind his head, looking rather pleased. “Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I had a pretty good summer. I convinced George and Margaret to let me spend the summer with my brother at his place. I hadn’t seen him in a while, so it was pretty awesome.”

Laz was smug as could be, cocky grin on his face. not a care in the world. pleased honestly.

Loch? he was not. he quite literally shoved Eddie out of the way to beef with his brother, which only ended in them both having broken noses within two minutes. Lonan pouting, sat in the edge of jaspers desk meanwhile laz was licking his teeth, grinning. brotherly love.

Jasper just laughed and Eddie wiped at Laz’s nose, shooting Lonan dirty looks that said “I’m gonna kick your ass later”

Scottie just blinked and sighed. He put his head down on his desk. He expected no less from his friends.

" look at ‘em fags, scotts. " Lonan huffed, shaking his head as he leaned over to him, clicking his tongue. " ain’t never gon’ see me look tha’ dumb,. " he huffed, and then immediately felt eyes on him and jasper. and thoroughly ignored it.

Eddie looked between Jasper and Lonan with narrowed eyes after the latter said that, but just went back to wiping his boyfriend’s bloody nose.

Scottie shared a knowing look with Eddie, then turned his attention to his notebook, drawing something in one of the corners of it’s pages. Unlike Jasper’s bored scribbles from earlier, the image was actually resembling something.. It looked like a pair of eyes?

Lonan merely huffed, going back to kicking his legs off the edge of the desk before eventually laying flat, just staring up at Jasper. mentally mapping out his face, the beauty marks, wrinkles, small little scars. his eyes looked fucking horrifying but the intention was sweet.

Laz, on the other hand, eventually parted from Eddie — shifting over to now go harass Scottie. getting all up in his personal space like he usually did, stalking the drawing that he was doing. adding in his own little scribbles surrounding.

Jasper just continued his mindless scribbling, chewing on his lower lip to occupy his attention.

Scottie tried to move his notebook away from Lazarus, his cheeks red with embarrassment that he saw the drawing. “Hey, go draw your own stuff!”

Eddie quirked an eyebrow up. “What’s the matter, Conroy?”

Jasper craned his neck to look at Scottie’s notebook. He smirked when he saw the image. “Ohhh, I know what it is.”

Scottie gave him a look that said “shut up”

Laz, in fact, did not respect this. he straight up just decided he was going to invade every ounce of personal space known to mankind.

while also flicking rubber bands at Lonan.

Lonan had no real interest, until he was once again two seconds from beating the shit out of his brother. " .. screwie I ain’t worried what th’is but do sum’ before Lazzy end up 12ft below. " he murmured, one fist clenched behind his head, another reaching quietly for jaspers hand just out of view.

Jasper looked up and lightly flung an eraser at Lazarus’s head. “Cut it out, Laz.” He clasped at Lonan’s hand without a second thought.

Scottie widened his eyes at that, and made the sign of the cross as a joke before he made another effort to move the notebook away (the drawing seemed to be really personal to him..)

Eddie grabbed Laz’s shoulder, tugging at him. “Hey, Lazzy, maybe you should back off.”

he did back off, Laz did respect that. he walked for a second, paced, stood politely for a second before snapping the elastic of Lonans sock on his ankle. then he ran. why did he run? well you see when you poke a bear —

that bear fucking runs and chases that fucking fox down the hallway yelling at him about murder. which would end in detention most likely. but mainly murder. because what are two brothers if not the bane of one another’s existence. all the time. always. 100%.

The remaining greasers watched the two boys run down the hall and Eddie sighed. “Those idiots, I swear..” He muttered, leaning back in his seat, hands shoved in his pants pockets.

Scottie just laid his head on his folded arms and stared at the front of the room, just waiting for class to start at this point.

Jasper just smiled to himself as he stared at the door the two boys had ran out of. He laid his head down on his desk, staring out the window.

Lazarus returned right as their free period was almost ending, calm. collected. walked right back up to the gaggle of them before shifting down to sit back by Eddie as usual. though, even as class started, not a Lonan in sight.

Jasper noticed this and looked at Lazarus. “Hey, Laz, where’s Loch?”

" swimming with the fishes. “ one would only say this with the utmost confidence of someone who was previously associated with mafia, and because Lonan lived in that area? that could mean a plethora of things. he was actually, in the nearby creek — locked in a room somewhere, in detention, etc. Or Laz could’ve been an amazing brother and locked him outside in the fall weather with no jacket. you never know.
