hi fellow wanderer.
when's the last time you looked at the sky?
i hope life is being kind to you on the other side of that screen.

all of us snoopy, all of us
how to become rested, caught up and human: be tender and gentle with yourself, nurture your tasks mindfully, frequently clean your bedsheets and pillowcases for good sleep, cook with fresh herbs, hand wash your delicates, read before bed, lavender tea, hand write your to-do lists, sit outside and let moonlight soak into your hair, take a noon nap with the window open, keep a vase of lovely flowers on your nightstand, let yourself soften and move slowly
i'm going on a trip tomorrow.
one week spent away, only to boomerang right back where i started. but for those seven days i'll get to breathe the air of elsewhere, and hope my thoughts can't follow.
I appreciate handwritten letters, small meaningful things and cats
you'll just be minding ur business and then suddenly the air smells like an august evening in 2005

i feel so ugly and rotten inside
Compost. All that rot is growing something. Something better, something more closely resembling the garden I'm meant to be.
I’m teaching myself to slow down, and savor.
i'm supposed to pack today. fit my life in five boxes and leave the place i've made mine behind.
"i'm going home today" i tell my friends.
liar.
can it really be home if i feel so much dread when i step through the door?
