Don’t endear me
With your prowess
Infantile creature of suburbia
With fork tongue
You taste the delicacies
That your suitors have to offer
Unwavering flattery
Only introduces you to gambling
An expenditure
That you liken to love
Unflattering sentiments
With your visage
You are still lacking depth
Empty headed
Leaves you empty handed
Whole heartedly expired
Product of privilege
Underscored by desire
Kept you in mind
Only helped foreshadow
Empty hearted gestures
No time for consequences
Until dry heaving
Into a porcelain bowl
Then all bets are off
As the exit door is lunged for
Only excuses drip from your lips
Just run away
I’m too tired to over think
Double vision of what isn’t
Detaching from reality
When everything just falls through
Go back home
Where you belong
Invisible and difficult
When it all goes dark
Just get louder
Instead of listening in
Shout at the top of your lungs
Don’t want to be alone
With your exclusive thoughts
Rather drown in sound
Mediocrity infectious
Kindness appreciated
