we exist in sepia tone, yet in this space our love resides i feel the most golden when i am with you
Kollateralschaden
of course she remembered the heat. the aching melting ripping raging irresistible unforgettable all-consuming burn. merely being in the same room turned her body blue with his fire, the world gone in an instant. how could she ever forget
yet while the breathtaking delicacy that was his flesh drew her in - it was his mind that drowned her
every word, every quip, every fleeting thought he had coated her like a thick fog. what did he love, where did he see beauty, where did he find solace. falling so in love with his depths that she wanted to live there, too. forever.
the need to have her muse just as obsessed with her as she with him. to submerse herself in the deep waters, splashing through his thoughts like a child in a stream - overflowing with joy and wonder.
he could never do wrong, could he? there was nothing wholly unforgivable. not in her eyes.
for how could she find fault in the essence of her own inspiration, without naming it within her, too?
after all this time i know this golden blanket you wrapped me in is the love i deserve
and the warmth and strength from the realization is what healing feels like
I live under this same sky as so many other people
I will look up and admire everyday
I wonder who looks up at the same moments i do
I will most likely never know that answer
And that is oddly beautiful
