Did I come close? What should I search for to dress up Duo? 😅

I'm going to post real life clothing and accessories that the Gundam Wing characters would wear, if they were on this timeline.

Dropping ideas from military apparel suppliers and whatever pops up due to the Algorithms, since these boys were all child pilots.

I was today years old when I realized that Duo Maxwell is based on Han Solo from Star Wars.

That, Gundam Wing is like a mecha dystopian version of Star Wars! Even what my anime husband-o wears!

Edit: Annnd from Episode Zero? We find out he was once in a street gang led by a kid called Solo. After Solo was killed, Duo took the name Duo.

Basically, I have just watched Star Wars and I am giddy and I must let the world know. Yissss

A part of what broke my seven year old heart was watching GW and falling in love with the lead characters (Heero Yuy and Duo Maxwell)...

... and then finding out the whole series is basically a war time love story set in the future between them and Relena / Hilde.

I'm still crushed. 7 year old me is still crushed. Boo.
