maybe this is a testament to how much farming sims have changed since the genre went mainstream, but I've never thought of them as being about a peaceful, idyllic, easy life in the countryside tbh. to me they're about working very, very hard for a very long time for very little reward until you finally get to grips with everything and start making real progress - at which point yes you do get to enjoy the fruits of your labour but only after persevering through some very tough times. like how in Harvest Moon DS a storm can destroy your barn and kill your animals overnight so you have to either grind for better materials or learn to savescum. or maybe i was just bad at video games idk

Weird CL dream I had the other day
It was basically a giant tv commercial for a Classicaloid movie, which I guess implied it was going to be released in Korean theaters as well
The whole thing was set in some sort of Japanese festival at night, and had a very reddish color scheme (think Spirited Away + The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl)
It was in an anthology/episodic format, following each main 'loid around as they wandered around the festival and got into various wacky situations that sometimes intersected with each other
Artstyle was mostly similar to the anime, but there was no shading and the lines were thinner
There was a scene where Schubert was rescuing two other Schuberts from some sort of cage???
Just to be clear, the two other schuberts weren't his hiphop and reggae forms, it was literally just, like, clones of regular schubert
The trailer had some generic Jpop theme song so dream me didn't even realize I was watching a Classicaloid movie trailer for a good 20 seconds until it showed the Schubert scene mentioned above
