Hawk’s Watch | Nakano Ch2 Day 5 | Closed For Hiroto
@shsldiplomacy
Nakano probably wouldn’t have ever travelled to the NTT Medical Center. It wasn’t that he hated hospital type places, well he did but who didn’t really, but rather he couldn’t imagine such a place being important.
So the existence of a highlighted area filled him with a dull dread. It couldn’t be good… anything from Boufana was a double edged sword, there was bound to be something horrible for anything good. That was why he’d wanted to sneak in alone, check things out.
He was standing near the threshold looking in when a sudden shadow emerged from the sleepless. Tall, how had he not noticed?
“!!!” Nakano jumped back at the sight, barely relieved when he recognised the figure to be a classmate. He hadn’t met this one… Oh… he’d given some good information at the trial but. who? how? HAH! He could only stare, waiting for a clue as to the somewhat stranger’s desires.
“…Howdy. Cool spot huh?” …Someone just put him out of his misery.
What a lovely day to be out and about, acting blissfully unaware of what is essentially an impending apocalypse. This of course is a jest. A simple joke to get the mind off things. Why was Hiroto thinking of this again? It didn’t matter. What did matter was that he stood in front of the NTT Medical Center, as he gazed upon its entrance.
It was at this point that he heard a slight jump, and someone speak up to him.

He shot his gaze to the side as he examined who exactly it was. After a moment, he could recognize that it was none other than Nakano Hisashi. It really isn’t hard to identify the much smaller classmate of his, as no one else he knew dressed as a cyperpunk cowboy.
“Hello there.” He replied simply, as he didn’t answer the question. “I assume you are here to investigate as well?” Questioned the tall man, rather plainly.
This was already setting up to be an awkward conversation.
“Hah. Yeah.” Nakano said dumbly, “Investigating. Uh. Heard a thing, about some ghosts. Yep.” Stop stop stop talking.
This is fine, Fukui had been an asset at the trial. He may be a bit abrasive and not happy to see him, but he was a kid too, right? Nothing to worry about. Shut up about the ghost stuff. Stepping inside the building revealed a layout that immediately seemed confusing, although Nakano’s spacial awareness was one of his better skills, he’d assume a map would be needed.
“Uh… we haven’t really met. It’s Fukui, right?” He exhaled, keeping the taller boy on his eye-side, “I’m Nakano Hisashi. You any idea what the highlighted location thing means?”
@shsldiplomacy
“Ghosts? Interesting. I highly doubt in the validity of those statements, though I guess we will see.”
As Hiroto entered into the building, he searched around for any pamphlets, papers, or TV screens in the lobby that might hold maps on them. As he looked around, he thought about what exactly even was Nakano’s existence. He knew what the eyepatch wearing boy was known for, but still there was just so much about him that just didn’t make sense to Hiroto. Oh well, this was why conversations existed.
“Hiroto Fukui, yes.” Well that was that very brief introduction out of the way. “I investigated the courthouse with Kurizuka two days prior, so if this should be anything like that experience, then this will prove to be... Rather strange.” Of course he doesn’t elaborate what he meant by that.
