I think the reason theyre all Like that is because they believe they have some control over death, (and a little bit of what comes after) and then they don't.

I think like, even with the kids. Mike who obviously kills cc and that fucks him up. But also lizzie's awareness and like grasp for control in afterlife, mike scoop thing. I think CC is like, oh god i cannot protect or control my self in life or death, thinking about golden freddy slumped stuff.

Charlie has same thing of lizzie like, taking a leadership control, giving life ironically. Control over life. More reasons i think charlie and lizzie are like narrative foils. Gives life to the dead / kills someone to give life in a different way.
