Call me crazy but I kinda feel like being 100% isolated for like 50 years would result in a pretty severe case of touch aversion. And touch starvation as well.

Also Claire is super pampered by her aunts and uncles. She’s literally the only kid in the family so they all love to spoil her. She’s also the only person who can randomly hug five or treat him like a kid and get away with it.
