So I am in Spain and therefore outside of the loop of whats poppin in Houston, but this is definitely worth giving attention to. This is a show that I would be willing to take a day earlier flight to the states to go see, which I am doing.....
MEDIA BLITZ is playing this show, these dudes are wild. I has first seen them at a shed show and was blown away. They're a really radical crossover outfit and a group of really fun dudes. They have just released their first LP entitled "Burn The World". This record rips. They also had previously released 3 ep's over their career that, believe it or not, also rip. This is a band that is hell bent on ripping. Rip.
Headlining the show is GULIT PARTY who has announced that this will be there final performance :(. It was a short run but it was killer, so why not see the guys one last time? They cut a 7 inch that will be available at the show, I assure you it will be more than worth it to invest in one of those babies.
ABDUKTION is also playing this, providing that lone d-beat beacon of light in an otherwise full Hardcore show. It's good that we're seeing more genre crossing shows, it's how we make our scene stronger.
