Post 5 Renoir

Renoir paintings are impressionistic and not realistic. So they ooze out opinion of the artist rather than matching with reality. Opinions are something on which art in general thrives on. Being an artist the artist should have freedom to express himself or herself. Renoir paintings can speak a million words that’s why they are sold at 7.5 million USD average and are kept in Museum of fine arts. Max Geller started this anti Renoir movement but it’s not right to oppress other people in their perspective. So in my opinion impressionism and Renoir should be a part of art and not like max apart from it.

Beside the interesting title logo for Falcon Rising, this poster makes the mistake of trying to create action through overlaying flying debris around the center image of the main character – clearly, he’s not in an action sequence at the moment. It’s a tool that more action films are beginning to employ in their posters, but all those shiny, tiny “action particles” look more like snow than whatever it is the poster is trying to convey. This makes it hard for the viewer to comprehend the complete meaning of what the poster is trying to portray. #mct2014

Post 4 - which comic book character I associate with the most.

Wade Wilson or the Merc with a mouth who is also known as Deadpool. He is an anti hero a character who does what ever is required and does not follow any norms. Apart from all this he is a comedian while all the action is going on he will be cracking hilarious jokes. The reason I like associating with this character is because he is on a self searching voyage like me so its easier for me to connect.

A picture that had a vast impact on me. It was 2300 mts above sea level and I was witnessing a beautiful sunrise. That moment of bliss the dog named blue came to our rooftop. Just as he was mimicking my actions of watching over the mountains. I got a beautiful frame and I captured that moment in my phone. Whenever i see this picture I get inspired and I forget all the mishaps and just thrive with my positive vibe.

A picture that had a deep impact on me. This was a morning sunrise above 2300 mts above sea level and I was witnessing the most beautiful sunrise on top of a mountain. Just as I was blissfully watching the sunrise a dog named Blue came by the edge of the roof top and started gazing the abyss with me. That moment I took my phone camera and framed the dog and the mountains he was gazing. Every time I look at this pic I get inspired with positive vibes.

Post 2 : news paper reading in class and the medium you prefer or that matters to you. 13bvc4320

Ever since the print media has come into existence newspapers have been the main source of true journalism. But now with advancements in web with the development of web 2.0 internet has become a major news distributor on the go. At my home I prefer reading The Hindu as it gives me all the sufficient news required for my day to day information. Website of this particular newspaper design wise is not that great but its an efficient one.  In class the newspaper reading has given me a wider range of how the papers are written and how some of them just concentrate on adds more than content. So the class reading showed me how tabloids and newspapers are different. They also indicated that some papers print unwanted news in the front page for example Bangalore mirror. With the uprising of web 2.0 and GUI user has become directly connected with the internet. Thus giving the chance to the user to be more visually fed on the web 2.0. For example hyperlinks and video links makes it easy for any user to just click away the information which he/she requires. This feature I really appreciate in web 2.0 as it makes it easy for the user to understand the text on the web and gain more information such as the area and condition under which the incident occurred. Hence giving a feel of the surrounding which sometimes reading newspaper might not give you.

Me being an old-school person I still prefer reading news in the morning over a tea as I flip away the information on the hard copy or the newspaper.

Post :-1 what newspaper does your family subscribe to, who decides what newspaper to buy and the reason for the choice.

The newspaper which comes to my house is The Hindu. This was a personal choice for me as it had been a family tradition which has continued from my grandfather to me. Even though at home three newspaper come Hindu has been my choice for a long time because of the standard of writing in it. I like the Hindu not only for its text and content but also the supplement which comes with it “The Metro” which gives news about Namma Bangaluru. Getting the Hindu in my house was my decision and the times of india and Malayala Manorama are the newspapers what my parents read. Other than being a family tradition I like Hindu for its editorials and sports section.     My reading pattern goes something like this. I start with the very first article on the front page. Then jump to the sports section read some three articles and get an overview of the rest. Then I turn page to the editorial page because I find the articles here very intriguing and enlightening as they speak the words of the editor directly to the common man.   Ones done with editorial I prefer going to science technology where I get all the information of being a techie and a science freak. In the end this news paper completly satisfies all my needs of free flow unbiased information in 18 to 24 pages.

Darkweb

Technology has reached a point in development that now it is finding itself ways to go back to stone age. Darkweb if used well can solve a lit issues but then at the same time it funds drug trafficking and the underworld. So darkweb seems to me like a double edged sword which can save the world but at the same time it can bite everybody in the behind if left ignored. Websites like silk road and tor have come up of because of darkweb only. But at the same time wikileaks and other websites which are not main stream media have also come from dark web. Thus this gives me a feeling that its really hard to give a solution to a paradoxical problem like this.

Brazil's Thursday

June 12 th 2014 was a special day as the carnivals and huge celebration went through out Brazil. The Hindu has portrayed a vividly wide portion of this news in its sports section and the other news which caught my I was Narendra Modi asking for the cooperation of the opposition so he can develop that into a social movement. 

Another reason why I like reading The Hindu is the way they keep columns which catch your eye at the same time they have enough quality content which keeps a reader held by his neck stuck to the newspaper. This kinda interest I only get from reading The Hindu.

Midway Wednesday

Wednesday's Hindu was longer than the normal weekly paper as it was focusing on the preparation of FIFA world cup with some extra sheets added to the sports section. The way they have placed the articles in the sports section is really worth a read. While reading through the article which caught my eye was "How Google can disrupt world internet delivery." This article talks about how Google as a multinational corporation can take down a the world internet market by launching two satellites. Theses satellites can out do the world competition which Google gets and thrash any one in there mere vicinity. In this issue of Hindu I was also very thrilled to read the Fifa World cup section as it had details about predictions of the winner, which teams have the best chance, and the preparations these teams have gone through.

Troubling Tuesday

The news paper which most interests me is The Hindu as it is well versed in the international language English. The paper has eighteen pages of more or less pure text and less of advertisements. Reading the newspaper over the past 4 years have definitely increased my vocabulary of English language. While I was reading the newspaper on Tuesday three news articles that caught my attention where a dam tragedy in Himachal Pradesh, smaller state bigger problem, and Kamal Hasans views on Tamil movie industry. 

The first article spoke about how lapse of three government officials cost 25 young lives. As I read through the article it gave me sense of how small mistakes can lead to long term damage in certain cases. The article also specified that the three government officials got suspended from the hydropower project for alleged negligence in releasing the water from the dam without warning. The second article basically talked about how Chief minister N.Chandrababu Naidu came back to his thrown after a decade and what he has to go through to improve the current situation of the state. The last but not the least Kamal Hasans article glittered light into the Tamil movie industry where the quality of movies haven't been elevated like its neighboring state Kerala.

Why MCT short form ?

The fifth estate controls most of the information flow in a country thus allowing the common man to have knowledge of his country. In a country filled with a billion people like India culture plays or depicts a vast variety of human behavior making it important for news. Finally the technology which is growing in today's world per second which also collectively gives a large vivid idea of man's materialism. So the sequence of order of MCT makes perfect sense as media some how influences the other two.

Why MCT ?

Media being the fifth estate has the power to change the mentality and flow of information in a country. Media also influences the culture and technology by giving out all the advancements. Culture of a country shows the preferred lifestyle of that place and also the kind of technology they have. Thus the order of sequence makes perfect sense.
