For those unaware, tumblr staff has (probably been forced to by shareholders) updated so that each post is it's own post with it's own notes. the silence between them started stretching longer than usual.   they had reached the point in which they were no longer awkward,   each of them doing their own thing.   however,   after a bit,   logos would feel an additional weight pressed to his side as sunday rests his head on the banshee's shoulder.   it looks like he was more tired than he realised.   finding comfort in the other's presence in front of the fireplace.   

The great banshee utters a noise; his wings aflutter, before they fall back into place. Logos adjusts the blanket around them, as he settles within the other's warmth. Even he can feel sleep creeping in, causing his eyelids to become heavy. Perhaps some rest was in order, especially with his condition. Speaking of, he's due for a check-up. remember what logos said during chapter 11 ( for those who played/watched )? he straight up lectures an ancient being, the damazti, about change, and that kazdal keeps falling due to their own hubris! he's loyal to amiya, theresa's successor, for her ideals, not because she is the next 'king'. he also convinces the damazti to k*ll themselves.

he's also angered, an understatement but i digress, that theresis would allow the resurrection of his twin sister, even though that is extremely disrespectful, even in their culture. it's enraging, but knowing what i know now, i understand, yet i still can't help thinking there could've been another way, to solve the myriad of souls issue.

Flins is correct. Not many have remains for loved ones to find. Once the eulogy is spoken, the banshee offers his own silent prayer. ❝ I'll gladly assist, if you shall need it. ❞

With a tilt of his head, golden earrings glint within the moonlight, as Logos ponders. He could offer words of comfort for their loss, but perhaps the Lightkeeper has heard them all. Instead, he carefully reaches to place one palm upon their back, while the other cradles the skull for only a few moments, before retracting his hand.

      a show of blue flames & electro claimed the battlefield — expertly woven. corpses strewn about flins with anima floating above: pale, sorrowful things that can fit into his palm. words from halcyon days were uttered, a quiet cacophony of tones becoming one, & the souls found peace. only then he acknowledged the rather . . . interesting stranger above.

anyone with a pair of working eyes can deduce as much. this one wore death like a shroud — not too terribly unlike himself. additional factors also intrigued flins to approach with a question from where he stood.

Something simple would be best. ❝ There was a broken lantern nearby as well. ❞ The banshee's body shifts and shudders, slowly forming into a more humanoid shape, while keeping his ethereal beauty. ❝ You may call me Aefanyl, as a fellow fae, but when addressing me in front of humans, I ask that you call me Logos, for my name curses them, when uttered. ❞

Cerise hues fill with horror, upon the sight of a familiar figure, lingering below him. He has seen them battle the Wild Hunt, never wavering in their duty, but it seems the banshee is their prey tonight instead. He doesn't blame the Lightkeeper, considering his form; a crimson painted face, claws, and talons, as well as a desecrated human skull, within his clutches. ❝ This death is not my doing, and the blood you see is that of a corrupted animal for the Wild Hunt. ❞
