i. my name is grunk, pronouns are he/him, and i'm 31 years old. i'm autistic, and sometimes i can come off in ways i don't intend to or misunderstand things, so i'd like to ask for a little patience and understanding.
ii. NO MINORS. i'll block anyone under 21 who follows. i'm not interested in interacting with blogs with harry potter muses or verses. i soft block blogs i'm not interested in following back.
iii. i will not follow: those without any kind of rules or muse info readily available, bigots of any kind, those who seem sensitive to disturbing content/purity police, all white multis, and people with generally nasty vibes and attitudes. i will eventually soft block those who don't attempt to interact at all either ic or ooc—no memes, no meme replies, no likes or comments on my posts, etc. a little goes a long way with me.
iv. i'm selective and private, meaning i'll only interact with people i'm in a mutual following with, and i won't follow everyone. if you use me as a resource blog, interact with my posts or otherwise try to get my attention and i'm not following you, i will block you. i expect my rules and the basics of lola's dossier to at least be skimmed.
v. i don't jive with reply length requirements. i do what's needed for the reply. i don't expect length to be matched, but i do expect effort to be matched.
vi. please don't write me passive starters. i will not respond to them. if you're not sure what to write, it's all good. you can come talk to me to figure it out, or just don't do it at all. i won't be bothered either way.
vii. if you're following me with the expectation that i'll make a verse to write with you, it's probably not happening. if i don't have it listed, i don't have an applicable verse. i am willing to develop new verses, but selectively.
viii. i can be slow. if patience with replies isn't your strong suit, we aren't suited to write together. i'm pretty chill about most things, so you can take all the time in the world to get back to me, ic or ooc. i highly value communication as far as the writing goes, so if something doesn't work for you, tell me. if you want to adjust or change something, or even drop a ship or plot, tell me. i'm fine with all of it.
ix. this blog is multiship, but selective with shipping. i'm very comfortable writing smut. you're welcome to send smut/ship memes, regardless of if we've established anything, but be aware that lola may not be interested.
lola is gay and most interested in men well into adulthood (if they're 200 and look 21, it's a no-go). he has issues with genuine emotional intimacy and has a limited understanding of what a healthy relationship looks like. he also has a tendency to overlook, excuse, and even romanticize toxic and abusive behaviors. lola has a history of abusive partners, and some of his behaviors within a relationship will reflect that.
don't follow if any of this bothers you, and definitely do not try to ship if you don't like it. i only practice ship exclusivity with canon muses if we've really established the ship.
x. i don't care if you don't format at all, but i ask that you don't format excessively. no extra spaces and no special characters, please. please, no gifs in replies!
xi. feel free to send me all the memes you want. i tend to hang onto memes for a very long time, but don't take that as a sign that i don't like you or don't want to write with you. plotting and just discussing our muses makes it easier for me to reply to things in general.
xii. the general genre of this blog is gothic horror and will contain content consistent with that genre, and most of it will go untagged. i generally won't tag potentially triggering content unless it's particularly graphic, but my idea of graphic may differ from yours. there will be mentions and discussions of child abuse, domestic abuse, racism, and homophobia. there will be references to incest and csa. there may be instances of coercion, manipulation, and abuse, along with all that entails. if you have any particular topics you need avoided or tagged, please let me know, but if you are generally sensitive to mature content, don't follow. i'll tag smut, but i won't tag mentions of or references to sex. warnings will be tagged as "usfw--" or "trigger--", sometimes with a qualifier such as "-- mention", "-- image", or "-- text".
xiii. if i do/say anything that bothers you, i'd strongly appreciate if you discussed it with me rather than ghosting, mostly if we've had a fair amount of ooc conversations. i can't learn from mistakes if i don't know what they are.
