It was March fourteenth, also known as pi day, which was also known as Emilia Evans' best friend Haruko Hiromitsu's birthday. "Well, uh, I can't make a pie for shit, or anything, really, so..." “Maybe we’ll figure it out or somethin’.” He shrugged, followed by a small grin. “Codenames can mean anythin’ ‘bout you. Like, I know this one girl…” He paused. “Actually she’s older than all of us, but anyway, we call her the ‘Pie-Girl’, even though she can’t shoot pies outta her eyes. Instead, she makes killer awesome pies, bro.” The irony remained lost on the guy.
”Dude... pies?" Looks like Emilia is going to have to meet this young woman. "That's awesome!" And at that moment, the redhead wondered if the girl had ever met either Chuck or Ned. Chances were, probably not, but hey, that'd be pretty sweet. Little does she know, though... "What's her name? I have to meet her sometime... Definitely."
“I know, right? It sorta is my codename. Yeah, like, all my friends have codenames. It’s fuckin’ awesome!”
”I need to get myself a codename. I don't know what would fit me, though, man." Emilia meant by this that usually superhero codenames were somehow connected to a certain power they possessed. Emilia would pick dead waker, or something of the sort, but she isn't going to give him any hints.
Yeah, neither did I, bro. Holy shit! It was hilarious!” He laughed out loud. “S’up, Em? M’ Shane, or Batbro.”
"Batbro? Sweet name, man. It's like a superhero codename or some shit." Emilia always wanted a super cool codename, just because.
“Cool story, bro!” Shane laughed, “Y’know, one time I set a grape on fire by putting it in the microwave.” Wait… what.
"Dude... that is awesome. Never knew that grapes could burst into flames. --Anyway, hola. I'm Emilia, but you can call me Em."

When Ned had spoken, his mouth movement was aligned-yet-not-so-much with the music that played, which made Emilia burst into laughter. After the one lyric was said, she stopped the music and responded with, "I wasn't before, but now I am. Sort of..." That was, if she could actually control her laughter.
Once he noticed the cellphone, he asked, “Do you mind telling me what you’re up to, Emilia?” Does he have a back up plan? Well, the answer was yes. He’s working on it in secret. Shhh.
”Yes, I do. Now, as for that favor... All you need to do is move your mouth, but don't say anything." Emilia let out a laugh as she opened Thrift Shop by Macklemore and skipped to the part where a certain lyric was said, awaiting the moment when the Pie-Maker would begin to do as told.

“I see what you did there.” The Pie Maker didn’t really mind being called ‘Pie dude’. More like, he was kinda used to it by now. “That must be amusing.” He chuckled. He knew if Emerson saw the fake money, he wouldn’t be so amused, but alas, that didn’t really matter at the moment.
"It is, man! I've tricked a few people today, already." Oh Emilia, you really shouldn't be proud of your obviously counterfeit money. Emilia then pulled out her cellphone and pulled open her music library, soon asking, "Hey, Ned... D'you mind doing me a favor?" Oh dear... Run while you still have the chance to, Ned.
