im scorfin down oatmeal as i make this post but i figured i should make a pinned post at some point for the common tags i use, so here we go

im sorry but yeah theyre usually characters of mine, and only me god and sometimes the dm (and rarer still other players) will understand how they relate but that's my business

for the most part, i dont tag fandom stuff, it just happens when it happens, but i do tag #nudity and the occasional #nsfw when it happens, but it aint frequent i do try to tag #long post though, for those who block those or whatever

the other non-character-related tags are my ref tags, which are often split into things like #art ref, #life ref, etc, but everything gets the base #ref tag, and also i try to remember to put #art and #my art on pieces i draw but im bad at remembering that whoops

the biggest character tags right now as i write this on 6/29/25 are - #carmilla, #creature feature, #guillermo, #nandor * - #comet, #shooting stars - #nate - #violet, #vila, #rimebound - #osiris

ive had other characters that got big in the brain worms for me, so some previous characters like that would be #roseiro, #nakeisha, #indra, #jag and #janet but tldr just assume if it's tagged something random like that or if it even resembles a name, it's a character of mine *guillermo and nandor are birds of carmilla's, references to the characters in wwdits, but likely if im tagging a post with either of them im not talking about the characters from the show lmao

okay not to ocpost again but the worst thing about having an oc is sometimes they become The Character to you. and you need to talk to someone about it like wow I can’t stop thinking about The Character… but in order to do so you have to like sit them down and explain everything about your oc first. and then it’s just you explaining your writing ideas. i need to talk about them the same way i would talk about any random character i love to someone.
