It was one of the days that she decided to venture out of bed. But the vacant expression still wasnât far from Maggieâs face. Curled up on a grassy patch that she found a block away from the Loft, she picked up shreds of grass only to chuck them aside. It was a childish task but it kept her distracted.
âWhat did the grass do to you?â Casey asked, walking toward Maggie and sitting on the grass next to her. She looked over at her before leaning back on the grass, âNeed an ear?â
