idk why i love Borrasca so goddamn much but there’s just something about these kids realizing they cant rely on a single person in their lives except each other that i cannot stop thinking about. it’s found family in the most drastic of circumstances and i adore it. every single adult in their lives failed to protect them, directly harmed them, or turned a blind eye to their suffering, and their peers inevitably followed suit. it’s just them, and when they realize it, they’re willing to burn down everything they’ve ever known to keep each other alive and safe. it’s so good.

this podcast was actually so thrilling like i had chills. the voice acting was done so well throughout the entire thing, especially that last episode (tw sexual assult, graphic violence in the last episode + the adult language already in previous episodes) i could hear the pain in sam and kyle's voices like shut up SHUT UP i crammed into a pillow crying when i heard this ep. the characters seemed like toxic to me but then i remembered that the trio's friendship is very similar to my friendship with my friends (no smoking weed all the time i promise) and was like "shit yeah cant say anything about that." eric is an underrated character, like he cared so much about sam and sure if he really cared about him he would have stopped giving him his piss but that talk they had about sam killing himself slowly and eric having to deal with it ugh i was crying this is also an underrated show not much people are talking about it, and yeah i get it cause cole sprouse starred AND produced and when i look at the borrasca tag that most of what i see but its so much better than just starring and produced by a child actor of the early 2000s + riverdale star so pls listen for the amazing plot, humorous dialogue throughout and actual serious topics (altho pls do look up trigger warnings before watching this, they also trigger warn at the start of every episode) also also also THE LAST FUCKING SCENE DUDE WTF I ALMOST SCREAMED ACTUALLY PLSSSSSS
