This Class is out of this world... Literally |Mikey & Dean, College AU|
Lecturing definitely wasn’t Mikey’s favorite part of teaching, but it had to be done, or they would never learn anything. At twenty nine, he was effectively the youngest teacher at the school, but definitely the most efficient at what he did. He could be reading from the text book, and pointing out things on a power point, and pause mid sentence to catch a kid he didn’t even see,(Or so they thought) falling asleep and tell him to pay attention.
He also knew how hard it could be for students to adjust from high school to college, so he tried to keep them as similar as possible, and as the year went on, he’d be less lenient on the students, showing them that life wasn’t all fun and games.
So as he clicked steadily through a power point, he heard the door to his classroom open, and he shook his head, knowing exactly who it was. “You’re late again Mr. Winchester. If this continues, I will not hesitate to throw you out of this class.” Okay, so he wouldn’t actually do it, but hey, the students needed a good threat here and there.
A small, ‘How does he do that?’ reached his ears, obviously not meant to be heard but he turned towards the young woman who’d said it anyway. “Years of dealing with younger siblings Miss Booke. Now if you would please, I’d like to get back to the lesson.”
And he did just that. He had to admit though, he was a little irritated that Dean Winchester, and only Dean Winchester, was late to his class almost every week. At first he had attached it to first semester of college jitters, but then after looking over his record, he found that it wasn’t his first semester.
Usually he would let it slide, but this had gone on for too long. Mid-Terms were approaching, and if he didn’t start getting to class on time, there would be no doubt that a failing grade is what Mikey would end up having to write on that paper. Something the young professor never liked doing.
