Hey, I was wondering how you made the harness for your Shinra Infantry cosplay?

Hey! I made it using faux leatherette material which I got from ebay. All the metal fastenings, poppers, studs etc also all came from ebay. One of my friends asked for some assistance when he was making the harness for Angeal and Zack so I made a few sketches to help him out. It’s pretty much exactly the same with the only real differences being the belt (and the colour). So I’ll upload what I sketched out for him.These are the basic pieces you’ll need to make, as well as the belt that goes around your waist which shouldn’t be too hard to do. I’m not sure how clear these notes are to anyone who isn’t me T_T so if you need anything clarified don’t hesitate to ask!

So… I hope this helped, I’m not very good at explaining things so if you’ve got any questions I’ll do my best to answer them. I’m more than happy to help!

Seemed appropriate to reblog this here on my cosplay blog. Also I forgot to point out that the shape of the shoulder straps would be rectangle instead of diamond-y for Cloud’s harness, but I’m sure people could figure that out.
