you know what, I have to give Kiera her props for the selection. people complain about how flip-floppy America was in the second book, but considering she was making a major decision that would literally affect her for the rest of her life, I feel like I would’ve done the same thing. i found it very realistic in that.

plus, what started out as a love triangle with Aspen and Maxon fighting for America is now a love triangle with America and Kriss fighting for Maxon. She totally flipped the script on us and changed the focus of the triangle

There can’t be a selection movie series simply because if I have to see that scene from The Elite of America putting on that red dress and trying to seduce Maxon play out on screen I will literally die of secondhand embarrassment.
