Léon calls for dramatic pop gestures on Treasure

“Indiepop / soul / whatever” - songbird Léon is releasing her debut EP Treasure on Friday after having won over the world by storm (us included, of course) with perfect pop gem Tired of Talking and toe-tapper Nobody Cares. Title track Treasure is all kinds of dramatic pop (drum - silence - drum - moments + weird Arabic sample that’s pretty cool but also pretty weird included) and has Léon rightfully calling herself a treasure - we don’t even need to look for the right words here, thank you very much. It’s all very empowering, we’re pretty sure she went through a bad break up but if songs like this come out of those sort of situations we recommend you getting dumped asap.

Very relaxing song that you can just lay on the grass and watch the clouds and your day pass by.  The soft guitars, drums, and voice just makes the day go by so much easier.  A light tune for a great time.
