Worth it.
Do you eat leftover pizza cold like a normal person or heat it up like a heathen so all you can taste is hot grease?
Having an argument with my brother and I need to show him he’s wrong.
Current tally:
Hot - 7
Cold - 2
Both - 2
How can you reheated pizza eaters even sleep at night.
1) this is actually very good and valid advice
2) dude I hope you get pizza soon
3) BUT THEN ITS NOT COLD PIZZA IS IT??
OKAY LOOK
Pizza has a natural life cycle, it’s fresh, it’s delivered, it sits in your counter and then in the fridge where it gets cold.
This is the natural way of things. Cold pizza is not a lesser pizza, it is a different manifestation of cheesy carb goodness. At a cooler temperature the more subtle tastes of the spices come out, allowing the sauce and chews to stand up for themselves in the palette.
To reheat pizza is to defy nature, akin to using alchemy to raise the dead. You can never go back to fresh pizza, and microwaved pizza is an abomination that results only in tasteless sizzling grease, all you taste is the temprature of your necromancy slice, not the actual ingredients.
The best thing to do is enjoy fresh pizza while it lasts, and then move on, embracing the reality and new taste of cold pizza as a new and unique food. Do not wish for the pie of the past, value the pie of the now.
Any other course of action is an affront to the pizza gods, do not pretend that you can ever go back to revive the past. There is only the present.
MY COLD BLOODED BRETHEREN COME TO MY AID
Hello, all. I am Wit’s younger brother. This account has lain dormant for years, but at last a worthy cause has surfaced. It’s time for a fricking crusade.
*inhales*
FIRST OF ALL
I would like to acknowledge my fellow hot-pizza brethren and commend their loyalty to the way of truth.
Stand firm.
UNLIKE THE LIFELESS CORPSE OF A COLD SLICE OF PIZZA.
My sister alludes to pizza-necromancy in her post. Fine. But let it be known I would far rather employ the use of zombie-pizza than resort to CONSUMING CADAVER PIZZA. The lifeless, soulless, cardboard triangle that is cold pizza belongs on an autopsy table. Absolutely devoid of life, flavor, or anything desirable, it stands as a tragic memorial to what once was...
...but also is a harbinger of what could yet be.
Cold pizza is not repulsive in and of itself; merely the preemptive consumption of it. To eat it before heating is like taking a vacuum to the ashes of a newly deceased Phoenix. What could yet be great is nipped in the bud, forestalled before it can return to its former glory. Cold pizza is merely the stiff, unmoving chrysalis to the beautiful, greasy, delectable butterfly that is reheated pizza.
Rising above the rigor mortis of the refrigerator, the dormant pizza slice emerges from its hibernation, embracing the microwaved majesty of flavor. It is much like it was before; hot, steaming, glistening. Yet, it is more... the flavor is enhanced, the cheese, now with a subtle shift in texture, yielding a new, enjoyable experience. Reheated pizza is a legacy, taking the honor of its fresh forefathers, and forging into a brave, toasty, chewy horizon of quick, hot, and easy food.
Choose tasty, not lazy, my brothers and sisters. All hail warm pizza.
New video! Boy, it’s been what... six months since last upload? Blech. Too long :p
