Was hoping to get a new piece done for Victini Day today, but it seems like my schedule did not allow for it. So, instead I'll be sharing some old pictures featuring Victini, some that I'm surprised I haven't shared yet.

First up, here's one of two Victini meeting! This (and the other ones I'm sharing) were all made as part of an arc I did in the PokeMedia subreddit, where my Victini character Red (he's the one on the right) went to the town of Eindoak to meet with the Victini who lives there (whom the PokeMedia community named Tomato IIRC). Though they were initially evasive at first, yoinking Red's custom-made V-Gear device and leaving some photos on it...

...And after they met above, Tomato got to work teaching Red all sorts of Victini things! ...And caused him to relive past traumas, but those are for another time (I have the whole thing written up in TweetGen images, but I feel like it'd be better appreciated as a comic). As an example of one of those powers, here's Red using his species' ability to enhance others!

Admittedly, not much happened beyond that, aside from Red joining Blueberry Academy as a teacher, and it's been... a good while since I've touched the PokeMedia subreddit, with him or any of my other Pokemon characters. I'd like to come back to it, but only once I've properly sorted out things in my life. For now, though, I'm happy to cherish what I made so far for it.

Finally found some creative energy this month (Well, come to think of it, there was another piece I made this month that I forgot to share here, but that can wait a bit)! Didn't use it for belated birthday art, unfortunately, but art is still art. This is Medi, an OC that a friend showed me last night - a slime that absorbed so many healing potions that he basically became one! He's quite adorable, and I figured he'd make for a good warmup drawing (...at 1AM, but ah well...). I did provide a bit of embellishment, like the healing plus-sign inside his body, but I think it helps solidify his capabilities pretty well. No timelapse for this one, sadly. It was a small enough drawing that I didn't feel it was warranted.

Nobody can resist a boop! ...Well, they can get upset about it, to varying degrees. But they can't resist it! (I stayed up from midnight to 5 in the morning drawing these, please send help)

Been two years since the Boopening™, huh? As I was going to post the old pictures up on Bluesky, I realized there was one OC who didn't get the chance to be booped back then... so I have rectified that. ...I should definitely draw Khensa more. Don't think I've really drawn her since, I dunno, last year's birthday art?

Recently, one of my friends got herself a VR headset, and she's been learning the ropes with the help of another friend who has one of his own. Yesterday they did some VRChat, set up such that they could share the action with me and the rest of our Discord group, and I couldn't help but sketch out the above little comic after a bit of shenaniganery that happened.

Some more VRChat happened this past Saturday, and while at the time I wasn't in the mood to draw (read: A big project made me realize my ol' laptop was nearly out of storage space and it freaked me out), eventually I've found the motivation to do so (and clear out my laptop's memory enough for it). So here's some golf! (The Chop Chop here is the same player as the Muffet above, same with the Whisper and the Armarouge.)

Happy Pokemon Day, everyone! I was planning on sharing a massive art piece to celebrate my many Pokemon journeys over the years... But when I say massive, I mean massive, and there was no way I'd have been able to complete it in time. So instead, I dusted off a piece I halted in late November to celebrate! Here's two of the Pokemon on my Legends Z-A team: Kori the Meganium and Argo the Aurorus! Kori comes from the Grass Continent, venturing out into the human regions to reunite with the one she partnered with way back when (A.K.A. Trainer!me), and Argo, of course, is freshly revived in the modern day. He was utterly flustered by her when they first met, and gradually their love bloomed like the petals 'round her neck... ...'Least, that's how I'd like to picture it. I happen to be an avid watcher of RTGame, and there was this bit from the ending of a recent video that made me feel like drawing it out. I dunno, something about the scene of Dan desperately shouting out to Bluebear and following her to the airport really tickled my artistic side. Timelapse below, like usual. They used to call me the Timelapse King back in college—

(I'm a bit miffed at myself that it took me two weeks to make this piece, but hey, I feel satisfied with the result. Better done alright than never done at all.)
