kid who would holler "DID" any time she finished her work no matter how many times we told her to just raise her hand

middle schooler i had during student teaching who pronounced magritte as "mah-gritty"

the kid who said "i got boogies comin out my nose" while sobbing and the kid who said "theres his puddle of cry" while describing a drawing, both of whom i think of when im crying

kid who said that if he was 80 he would get big and turn grandpa

kid who, for no reason in particular, would just say "like a little feet" as a standalone phrase in relation to nothing

edit how could i forget. the kid who got sneezed on and angrily said "whyd you blessyou on me"

When will SPN fans understand that the parallels between John&Sam and John&Dean are not because of some inherent evil nature which makes them a completely doppelgänger of their father but because of the circumstances around those characters which have led them to falling into flawed but realistic behaviours like their father before them, and that positioning John as some ultimate evil is a silly thing to do in the first place when he’s just like every character in this show, both victim and perpetuator of the cycle violence

“Cats don’t actually love you”

A cat is a small creature in the middle of the food chain that is fully aware that you are a very large thing that could stomp its head in at any moment and yet it chooses to rest its tiny little head on your leg for a nap and spreads out on the floor near you exposing its belly and its most sensitive organs. It brings dead mice and bugs to you to share food.

Don’t you get it? This tiny thing trusts you. It wants to help you too. It licks your leg thinking that it’s helping. It kneads on you to find comfort. It shares its body warmth with you in the cold and gives you your space in the heat. It hisses at other mammals it sees outside including other cats in an effort to protect its family.

Cats love you so so much. But they will keep trying to eat plastic.

That scene between Clark and Lois in his apartment is so beautiful in so many ways like Lois essentially self identifying as a cynic while also establishing she never doubted him for a second after the video came out- the whole scene is so telling of their relationship and how much faith she has in him- as Clark and as Superman

But there had to also be a part of her that didn’t believe the message’s implications about him bc she had personal experience getting romantically involved with him and was like “no way this mf who took almost three years to nervously ask me to dinner for the first time could have some secret harem out there”
