I feel like the state of my computers organization is just a metaphor for my life. When you first open it, it looks really clean. Everything is organized on the desktop with folders and whatnot. Then you start to open the folders and all hell breaks loose.
You Know You’re West Coast When....

One of the most important things that you will ever learn about me is that, I really like Caffeine. Now, unfortunately, anything with caffeine in it doesn’t not agree with my ability to function. Given, most days I suck at functioning like a normal human being in society, but Erin on caffeine is a whole other level of chaos.
I turn into the energizer bunny, except I don’t last as long. I go a million miles a minute for about 2 hours and then end up crashing at the dinner table and face planting into my food. It’s bad.
I’m sure I’m not the only person out there whose brain has failed them at times.
So, the other day my friend and I were talking about the first crush that we ever had. I went to say “Peter Pan from – “ and then I blanked. I couldn’t remember for the life of me what movie that Peter Pan was from. So instead of just waiting for the hamster in my head to get off his break and start turning the wheel again, I decided to ask my mother. I just randomly walked up to my mom and said,
“What movie is Peter Pan from?”
I swear I have never seen sure disappointment and confusion in my moms face. She didn’t say anything, she just looked at me with this look of my ice-cream just fell on the floor disappointment.
Realising that I was an idiot, my brain finally kicked in again and reminded me that Peter Pan was from the movie Peter Pan….
My mother must be so proud of me.
Before you fall I want to take you away
So I accidentally ended up listening the Renegades by X ambassadors for a hour on repeat yesterday. That was interesting… Didn’t even realise until the music stopped that I’d been listening to the song repeatedly for an hour. Surprisingly enough, I actually still like the song :3
Hey guys! My names Erin, I’m 18 years old and I live on the West Coast of Canada. I have already completed my first year of University on Vancouver Island, though I am not planning to go back until January 2016.
I was born and raised on Vancouver Island and I am so West Coast it hurts. Honestly though, it’s kind of ridiculous sometimes. Growing up on the West Coast I’ve learned a lot about the environment and nature around me. I like to think that I have some great stories to tell in the future because I grew up where I did and was so lucky to experience all that I did.
